This is definitely a must watch!!! Such a good horror film with out being super gory! Without having a budget these guys did an amazing job. We love a Scottish accents and it's great to see scottish actors make it in this industry.

Glad it was Americans attempting to sound Scottish!

I love a throw back to early 2000s.

You can sometimes see the difficulty that the movie had with some janky edits and not being perfect but after hearing about how difficult the movie was to make it's some piece of work. For what it is and how it was made, people first ever film and no money, Well done! Great job.

I recently watched this and was genuinely surprised at just how gripping I found it. A thrilling ride from start to finish, interspersed with some pretty funny moments in-between the gruesome deaths. It's essentially a very old school, grisly slasher, set in a remote cabin with a really dark, dank and dirty feel to it. So reminds me of these 70s/80s low-budget horror films that my mates used to bring round on VHS. Stuff like the 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' and 'I Spit On Your Grave'. Like those movies, it's got a really eerie atmosphere and lots of suspense and you really feel the isolation and dread from the characters. Watch it if you're after some seat clenching scares and are able to endure some gore. Thoroughly recommended!

I've seen a lot of bad horror movies , some of which I enjoy, but this Scottish attempt is just plain bad. All the usual cliches are to be found here but the swearing combined with strong Scottish accents made for a difficult watch.

I've never seen a movie with such a cast who spent the whole 106 minutes in aggressive shouting and swearing at each other. A blessed relief to see them being knocked off one by one.

I know that we've seen many similar American versions of this well-worn scenario but one hopes that maybe one original idea would be included to break the monotony of a slasher in the woods gore-fest.

Haven't seen a good slasher in ages (apart from the scream films) and so I was pleasantly surprised by this. Loved the 2000s setting. Made me quite nostalgic for a time before social media took over. Some laugh out loud moments (in a good way) and some real oh jeez that looks like a horrible way to die moments. So all in all a good wee night in front of the telly for me. Solid acting. And the film looked great considering how long ago it was made and how low budget it is. Little bit dark at times but I guess that's the point in a horror film. Is there going to be a sequel? And if so will it take 17 years?

At first I couldn't understand how a movie that's only been released recently could look like it was made 20 years ago but after a bit of online research, I found out that this is because it was. A really interesting background story is attached to this film for anyone who wants to look it up.

The style and feel of the film is, as you would expect, is very consistent with the gory slashers of that time and benefits greatly from that. It's actually reminiscent of movies that are even older, eighties releases mostly.

I wasn't expecting anything miraculous from this film and went into it with that expectation. This allowed me to truly enjoy it for what was, an honest, gritty and thoroughly entertaining blood thirsty romp into cabin in the woods territory with all the jump scares and tension that delights all of us who love this genre.

If you're looking for something high brow then this isn't the movie for you. If you want to simply be entertained with the possibility of needing a fresh pair of shorts, then I can recommend this wholeheartedly.
