Escaping Halloween: QUIZarenaLIVE Special Event

Like previous special events, Escaping Halloween: QUIZarenaLIVE Special Event is primarily focused on competing in a virtual escape room, something that has been done twice before with Escaping Halloween 2021 and the Xmastravaganza 2021.

Richard Lovegrove hosts the show with his usual infectious enthusiasm, welcoming the audience/viewers to the special event before introducing the guests who will be helping along the way.

Jason Spindlow was a surprise as I've only seen him once on QUIZarenaLIVE before. He was charming and upbeat. I'd like to see more of him on the regular show. Also, a hearty congratulations on your nomination for an AACTA award.

Cameron Dunn is a QUIZarenaLIVE regular and highly entertaining. He often has me in hysterics with his witty, crass repartee. Everything he says should be reserved "for Under The Covers".

Of course, no special event would be complete without the QUIZarenaQUEEN making an appearance. Rhiannon Elizabeth Irons is a staple of these events an always a pleasure to watch, especially when she themes herself to match whatever the special event is.

The flirtatious swordplay between the guests is always something to look forward to and watching them team up to solve puzzles within the escape room was amusing. I'd love to see them live stream an actual escape room.

The escape room was only one aspect of the show. Once it was completed, they turned their attention to a special quiz all about QUIZarenaLIVE. I'm somewhat glad I'm writing this review based on the replay I watched because I would have failed horribly in that final tournament which had 20 questions instead of the usual 15 for special events (10 questions usually round out the final tournaments in a regular episode of QUIZarenaLIVE).

Overall, this special was pleasurable to watch. I do issue a warning that alcohol was consumed during the production, but not excessively so. It added to the atmosphere of the night.

Escaping Halloween 2022 was an enjoyable special event. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already.

If I were stranded on a desert island, I would want the QUIZarenaLIVE team around to help me survive.

Having missed the last two special events featuring virtual escape rooms, I was happy to have tuned in to watch the live stream this time around.

Richard and Rhiannon teamed up with two other guests, Cameron and Jason, for Artifact Isle, a virtual escape room available online. Talk about teamwork. They started out strongly before becoming stumped on a puzzle. The live stream audience were doing our best to help (By the way, I have no idea how they got many of those puzzles) but found the humor in how long it was taking.

Once the escape room was over, they unleashed what was promoted as the ultimate QUIZarenaLIVE quiz. Written by the QUIZarenaQUEEN, Rhiannon Elizabeth Irons, the 20-question final tournament was all about the show that is into its third season. We also discovered some things about the hosts and previous guests that weren't well-known, such as a commercial appearance.

There were a lot of hilarious moments during the special that kept us laughing. The dynamic of Richard and Rhiannon is something that has been mentioned before, but the addition of Cameron and Jason were the cherry on top. They got along well and worked together as a team.

Escaping Halloween: QUIZarenaLIVE Special Event is worth the watch.

I missed the live stream but have since played catch up with the replay. This special event was reminiscent of their Escaping Halloween special from 2021. Instead of dealing with The Underground Murder, this time the QUIZarenaLIVE team found themselves on a deserted island with the Artifact Isle.

Joining Richard Lovegrove and Rhiannon Elizabeth Irons were Cameron Dunn (who joined them for the Christmas special) and Jason Spindlow, a previous guest of the regular series show, as they put their minds together to take on this virtual escape room.

These specials are always entertaining. True to form, they did a final tournament of questions all about QUIZarenaLIVE.

Great replay value. Highly recommend checking it out.

As the spooky season came to an end, QUIZarenaLIVE delivered a new spooktacular event. Teaming up again with Virtual Escaping, they streamed their attempt to solve the virtual escape room, Artifact Isle.

QUIZarenaLIVE host Richard Lovegrove was joined by the QUIZarenaQUEEN, Rhiannon Elizabeth Irons, as well as QUIZarenaLIVE past guests, Cameron Dunn and Jason Spindlow for the special event. Hilarity always ensues during these specials as the atmosphere is very carefree and relaxed. At one point, Cameron declared himself leader and stated his way of survival was to make a raft of the bodies of Richard, Rhiannon, and Jason to ensure he got off the island. Rhiannon's clapback was "So, we're eating Cameron first?"

Though the escape room is the focus of the special, it really wouldn't be QUIZarenaLIVE without a quiz. Scouring through the entire back catalogue of the show, Rhiannon created the Ultimate QUIZarenaLIVE quiz, featuring memorable moments.

An enjoyable special event that will have you rolling in the aisles with laughter, Escaping Halloween (2022) proves the spooky season doesn't have to be all doom and gloom.
