Imposter Syndrome

This episode mad me crawl. And it should. So many forces come to bear in this one. First of all, we have Paul, the successful wry psychiatrist who has Parkinson's but fears telling his daughter. Liz, who is married to a dunk, so goes about her business, connecting ore with friends than family. Of course, there's Alice and Sean. She may be bright, but she is still a high schooler, and her emotions are getting the better of her. Which she finds out. Like her father, she suffers from the loss of her mother. Then there is Brian who is out but is afraid to take risks. Finally, Jimmy, of course. He is the consummate mess. Talk about a bad idea: having the proposal party at his house. He encounters friends from his marriage who haven't seen him since the funeral. He begins to look back on the relationship, believing in his mind. That the marriage was on the ropes. He is so uptight that he binge drinks and becomes smashed and creates a horrible end to the party. There is a scene between Jimmy and Gaby at the end which will set up the next episode. This whole thing was like rampant indigestion. It needs some Pepcid AC.
