Better Late

Absolutely love the fact that this show is back. I doubt that the creators themselves saw this show going past one season (although one strong season). The second season was such a joy to watch and the ending was so emotional and bitter sweet at the same time.

I am really looking forward to the rest of this season and the story arc of our two main characters , and also quite a few very interesting side characters as well.

I am personally very invested in how these stories unfold. And let's not forget a big part of this show's success relies on the brilliance of Jean Smart and the way she has made Deborah's character her own. Kudos and God bless.

Oh my goodness.. This is my favorite episode so far! I absolutely love the relationship between our two leads. I love how Deb has no qualms with letting Ava know that how much she needs and values her at this point. I'm almost scared to watch the rest of the series because I'm afraid she will start being mean to her again after Ava has put herself back out there. Calling Ava in the middle of the late night writers room completely confident that she would be able to workshop comedy gold out for the show and then Ava bursting through the door just as Deb said "It would be great if you could come down here" was chef's kiss...:
