Great idea and good effects, but dreadful acting. Even the established actors seem unenthusiastic and amateurish.

Its main redeeming feature is the fantastic use of a constrained and very limited space, putting me in mind of the party scenes of Cloverfield and even more claustrophobic than their sequel (10 Cloverfield Lane).

A film that any budding filmmaker should definitely see but not one I'd recommend for its entertainment value.

Not as bad regarding the amount of darkness that films of this ilk often overuse, but its the terrible acting that really ruins this movie for me.

I have been hoping to find Any Way or ANYONE who can PLEEASE possibly help me be able to also watch this film too??Let alone I have also come acrossed Many various films that I can't in any way find and am hopeful that there's some way that maybe somebody can help me also be able to find these films that are listed here on IMDb's site,yet have no listing of where to try as a choice of available website options they'll "list options",for people to watch the films too.Though,they also have these films listed,yet have both:no "list options" of websites to watch these films,so I add them to my "Watch List" in order to also keep track of films I'd like to see&will periodically check if later there's available websites they list,OR the other thing that'd happen when i try adding them to my Watch List yet it'll say its not available/no longer available so I can add to my list.Yet IMDb will keep these various films And their descriptions listed...So,I know it is a site for listings of films,etc,listed & optional sites that you can choose from to watch.But when I come acrossed movies With recent posted reviews of the movie,but then there is no listing of a way to watch them as the recent posted reviews by members who'd watched the movie,some how or somewhere....:/ I appologize for writing so much,but am just merely a member thats hopeful that someone may have knowledge of how I can maybe find these various films like this one,&have a chance to also hopefully enjoy seeing the films too.I would appreciate any form of help &/or ways to find the mysteriously movies unavailable to find and watch. On that note,I want to say, I do Appreciate and Thank You kindly for your time in reading this...

I recently watched this film at a private screening. I thought it was really well done for the budget they had to work with. The five main actors had a great chemistry and the girls were very easy on the eyes. The story kept me very entertained and wondering what would happen next.

I've seen high budget movies with all types of special effects that you're looking at your watch. And most indie horror movies are so bad that you end up laughing. This had some very original themes, with the hurricane and the spiritual healing that I've never seen before,and I really cared about the characters and whether they lived or died.

For an independent, low-budget movie, I was very impressed and thankfully, entertained.

First off, this was made on quite a low budget, and obviously such a budget brings limitations. Being overambitious with effects and sets would have been a mistake, and the setting of most of the film inside a house is pragmatic.

The real disappointments for me were the aspects that don't require a large budget. The sound was very flat, the script lifeless, and the ideas in the film underdeveloped. The score is like a relaxation tape playing constantly in the background, and a few people employed to bang on the shutters to least give the impression that the protagonists were stuck in a storm that made it too dangerous to leave the house would have helped. So many scenes were just one static camera on a wide shot, with little attempt to use the camera to add tension.

The acting, bar Pitts who tried to bring some life to her role, was flat, but in truth they didn't have a lot to work with. A little humour, more interesting dialogue, and variation in pace would have helped. The whole thing gave the impression of a stage play rehearsal with an absent director.

While it would be harsh to judge a film made on this sort of budget against most others, I can't really recommend that anybody watch this.

I feel like I might be being a bit generous here, this highly obscure "Ghosty" flick really is pretty dire.

It tells the story of 5 friends who decide to party in an unoccupied house during a horrific storm. Before you know it everything starts to go wrong from in fighting to the generator running out of fuel and oh yeah a ghost picking them off.

The lack of budget shows, the camera moves weirdly like someone was trying (And failing) to hold it still and the actual sfx (What there is) are bizzare and awful on so many levels.

Top that with an unlikeable roster of characters and a confusing story and there really isn't much to say the movies defence.

Move along, nothing to see here
