This film is a biopic of "MAMONAS ASSASSINAS", a comic rock band that had a huge success for only 8 months in 1995/96 in Brazil. It portrays the hard life of five musicians as they did petty jobs to scrape together money to make a record of their rock band "UTOPIA". I also remember crying as all five of them died when the small plane they were in crashed into a mountain minutes after an unsuccessful landing in the airport of Guarulhos, their hometown. It was a great loss as their career had only just begun. They were scheduled to make a long tour in Portugal, which might have triggered their international success. Give this film a chance. You won't regret it.
