My husband and I can never agree on a show to watch together, and this was a win from both of us. We weren't too particularly happy with how the last season ended, but hey what more can you do with a pandemic? The show as a whole though was FANTASTIC. So much so that I'm rewatching it while I'm on medical leave from my job. So far I've only completed the first episode of my binge re-watch, but I'm already sucked back in. If you're just bored and looking for something to do, I highly recommend. Cillian Murphy absolutely killed this role, and very quickly became one of my favorite actors with his diversity.

The entire Shelby family dynamic is fascinating, with every character adding depth and drama to the story. The period setting is brought to life vividly. The tense confrontations, the twists, the quiet moments of reflection, this show nails it all. I'm so stoked for the movie and wish this show had even more story to tell because it is superb.

After the show, you cannot stop thinking about Thomas Shelby. I've never seen any movie characters that stay in your head like that.
