Mission Start

In this second to last episode of "Chainsaw Man", Aki apparently makes a contract with the Future Devil without giving him anything in return. Makima meets with the head of the Tokyo yakuza, because they have contracts with Gun Devil, and terrifies the boss when she hands him a brown paper bag filled with eyes. When one of the yakuza attempts to attack Makima, she looks at him and he dies of a nosebleed.

The others are closing in on the Katana Man's hideout, where Akane also is. A group of guys come out to confront Aki, but also all end up dying of nosebleeds. It's reminiscent of how Makima killed with telekinesis a couple of episodes ago, but funnily enough, nowhere near as violent.

Finally some more devils are introduced. There's a "shark devil", which has the head of a shark but with six eyes for some reason, a spider devil, a violence devil who always wears a poison filled mask, an angel devil, and I think that was it. They go to the basement where all the zombies from the first episode are kept, and shark and violence carve them up.

I liked the episode, but it was still perhaps a little confusing. Perhaps not so much as the previous. Often I don't know why the characters are doing what they're doing.
