I watched Vaalvi in theatre and yes the experience was fantastic.

1. Intellectual Script and Superb Direction by Paresh Mokashi 2. Perfect characters played by Swapnil Joshi, Subodh Bhave, Anita Daate, Shivani Surve, Namrata Sambherao.

3. Laughing riot in a suspense thriller movie. Standing ovation to writer for this.

4. Why the name Vaalvi? For that I give a bow to the director.

5. There is no single moment that is not taking the story ahead. Movie keeps moving ahead every second.

6. Last but not the least, an unpredictable ending.

7. Huge thanks to Zee Studios and Paresh Mokashi for taking Marathi Movies to next level.

Top class cinema!! Considering the kind of topic movie handles, the director did a commendable job to keep the screenplay top-notch. Not a single moment feels cheap.

Excellent acting by all the star cast. Their expressions speak volumes. Their acting elaborates the scenes thousand times better than dialogues.

Proud of Marathi cinema! Go and watch in theatres. Much much better than cheap Bollywood masala movies.

Thanks to Paresh Mokashi and Zee studios for bringing such a masterpiece and taking Marathi movies to next level!

We can't be the judge for this great master peice, just a terrific storyline by the writer, director and all the actors. Marathi movie on a next level... from the beginning to the end the story narration was just thriller!!!

'jaane bhi do yaaro" "andhadhun" hilarious murder mystery keeps you glued to your seat. But this one made us jump... Hats off!!!

Marathi is not everyone language, but subtitles helped to understand. Even the bollywood audience should watch this movie!!!

After Kantara, my second top list is "Vaalvi". Thank you for bringing such a good movie to the now a days cinema lovers!!!!

I've watched hundreds of Thrillers, handful number of Thrilcoms and I've always wished that such movies should be made in Marathi too. Thankfully my wish has come true and we have got a movie that shouldn't be missed. This is an original movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat and makes you laugh hard at the subtle dark comedy in it. Funny thing is you even wonder how can I be laughing at such situations but you can't help.

The length of Valvi is just 1 hour 46 minutes, with no songs, no futile romance and no nonsense. It's fast paced. The script is tight and engaging. The dialogues are witty and on point. Direction is smart. I am a big fan of Paresh Mokashi and I've loved his work since I watched his play 'Mukkampost Bombilwadi' which happens to be my most favourite. He has good experience with comedy but I was surprised to see his hand at Thrillers. I don't like to compare as such, but I can call him Marathi industry's Shriram Raghavan.

As far as acting is concerned I think all actors have done their job superbly. I'm not a big fan of Swwapnil Joshi, but I loved his acting in this movie. He should actually be utilised for such unconventional roles. Shivani Surve has done a great job too. So has Subodh and Anita Date.

Overall this is one Marathi movie that you should not miss. Especially the people who love Thrillers.

Won't say anything about the title of my review. One should watch the movie to get it.

Very rarely do we see such a movie being attempted by Marathi film makers and Director Paresh Mokashi deserves full credit for this brilliantly executed film.

Story- Aniket (Swapnil Joshi) & his wife Avni( Anita Date) decide to end their lives together. However there is more than what meets the eye, this is actually a well planned murder about to be executed by Aniket and his girlfriend Devika ( Shivani Surve) with Avni as the victim. Can't reveal anything more without giving away the suspense!!

What is Subodh Bhave's role in the film and how is the name Vaalvi ( Termites) apt for this film are the things to watch out for.

Superb screenplay with a gripping storyline that is full of twists and turns right from the word go, will keep you hooked till the very end.

Muted comedy dialogues are just brilliant and tend to make you laugh even in the tense situations that the characters are in !!

Swapnil Joshi, Subodh Bhave create magic on screen as they did in Fugay. The female leads too perform brilliantly.

In a nutshell, everything falls in place for this film. Highly recommended!! Watch it in theatres now or on OTT when it eventually streams. Don't miss !!
