If you have already watched Costco is it really worth it Then don't bother with this pointless episode. It's basically the same documentary with Christmas trees in the background and a few cutaways of oversized Christmas decorations thrown in for good measure. It's the same interviews, the same case studies and the same voiceovers all packed into 45 pointless minutes. They literally must have interviewed the experts, paused rolling the cameras and then asked them to do the same piece to camera with a Christmas jumper on!
If you haven't seen the origianal show then watch that one instead and play no part in encouraging this kind of wasted time and effort on a Netflix filler.

Channel 5 know their audience very well and clearly commission cleverly to cater for this demographic, which is perfectly understandable.
A fair few of these kinds of documentaries are actually fairly watchable all things considered, who knew supermarket prep kitchens and cruise ship laundry rooms could be so engrossing.
This masterpiece, however, was frankly dross from the start, even for this channel. It looked as if it was filmed on a potato whilst the operator was drunk, with the most patronising, pointless and irritating talking heads to provide light relief in-between.
A must miss all round - do the planet a favour and give your TV a rest!

They producers literally reused about 80% of the footage from the previous costco documentary, and the rest of it is the same exact script l, except they add "at Christmas" in some sentences.
Oh and they changed the outfits too, now the presenters are talking in front of a Christmas tree and for some inexplicable reason one of them is now in a dinner jacket.
They didn't even bother going into the store again I think - all the reused shots with prices have a hilarious "prices correct as of May 2022" caption.
Maybe this was an intern project or something, but you really ought to save yourself the time if you've already watched the other costco documentary.
