The Wedding Veil Journey

Ok, yes, there are things in this last of the second trilogy that should not happen IRL but they do here. Suspension of disbelief, people. Allison Sweeney as Tracey lets her heart shine through more in this one. There are several subplots-just go with it. Nobody should have their friends along on their honeymoon but by this point the ladies are basically sisters under the skin. The husbands are sweet enough to just go with it. Subplot with Leo- is he not the cutest little actor? The main thing is ask yourself if you want a hard hitting true life drama or a little escapism. For me, real life has been a little too hard hitting and I love the escape. Of course it's not realistic! It's a Hallmark movie. Beautiful scenery, a pretty good story, good looking people (so sue me, I like the looks and fashion). The worst thing is now I want to go to Greece!

This is the sixth film in the Wedding Veil series and it may not be my favorite, but set in Greece and starting Alison Sweeney and Victor Webster, it is still a must see.

This film revisits Tracy and Nick our hard working New York couple who three years post wedding have yet to take their honeymoon. These two detail oriented driven work-a-holics agree to not only go on honeymoon, but to allow fate to decide where...which is how they end up on a Greek island at the inn of the worst cook on the island and his sister. While Tracy and Nick struggle to spend alone time together, a romance (thanks to the veil) starts to blossom between one of their Greek hosts and a fellow guest who is a British gentleman visiting Greece his grandmother, and Tracy becomes fascinated by this young local boy with a gift for sketching (Leo).

Beautiful backdrop for this story which gets crashed by our other two Wedding Veil ladies, Avery and Emma. I am not sure Nick and Tracy's quality time question is fully answered, but they do eventually get on the same page about Leo.

I love this series and I really hope they do more...my favorite part is that at the heart of the series is a loving and supportive friendship of three college girlfriends. Don't get me wrong, I like the romances...but I like that the story is rooted in this friendship.

Recommend for all those romantics, like me out there.

This third sequel to the "Wedding Veil" trilogy is the best of the three. It follows the story of Tracy (Alison Sweeney) and her husband Nick (Victor Webster) as they honeymoon in Greece.

The fact that this episode was filmed on location in Rhodes, Greece is a change from the preceding two. It may be part of the reason this story stands out, though the scenic beauty is not an overwhelming factor. It is narrative and characterization that drive the quality of a story.

The happy couple encounters the owners of a small inn and other locals who add color. The Wedding Veil legend continues via the woman who runs the inn and a guest. Her brother's lack of culinary talent spurs Nick to recognize that he misses time in the kitchen. And a young boy draws the attention of Tracy and Nick due to his personality and his artistic talent.

This final follow-up to the original stories feels totally different from the others and is a breath of fresh air.

I always enjoyed Alison Sweeney especially in "murder she baked". I wish they would do some more of those. I enjoy watching these except, I found this one a little bit dumb. They never had a honeymoon and never get to spend time together , so her friends end up crashing their honeymoon. I don't know about you but I would be a little upset. I also didn't think they had chemistry together . I did enjoy the other stories more and I always liked Lacey Chabert.

Also, what was the reason to bring the veil with them? Kind of silly. On a positive note, the scenery in Greek is beautiful and I enjoyed that the most.

Give it a shot and judge for yourself but this was my least favorite one . Although still watchable.

The best thing about this movie was the location, a rare movie not filmed in Canada makes these better, even if they have their own weak moments. It also allows for a reduction in forced diversity, which this network has gone completely overboard with the last few years.

Deducted 5 pts on the girls having to come to the honeymoon of their friend & him being okay with it, what a joke that they felt this was necessary, they talk all the time on their laptops.

The Veil series had potential but IMO they killed it with the 3 new ones, just stick with the main couples & their life, with the occasional chat w/their overbearing friends. We don't need other couples & their relationships, put that in a new movie.
