Spinebuster

The French movies speaking of wrestling, fake wrestling, are not too numerous; the last one I have in mind is NOS HEROS SONT MORTS CE SOIR, back in 2013, starring Denis Menochet and Jean-Pierre Martins. This is an interesting story but unfortunately not destined to wide audiences and I understand that it is better to be produced in a short film frame, because this way it will be cheaper and the writer will be more free to do what he wants. This is a cute and honest story, not fancy, not gratuitous, just fair and accurate, sensitive, gripping. Not the usuall silly topic that we can see from time to time in short films.
