This was a lovely idea.
Perfectly timed as we emerged from the perils and hells that the Covid-19 Pandemic brought upon us, this initiative launched by Princess Catherine (let's be honest, she'll always be 'Kate' though, won't she?) was a nice one.
It's a good way of putting the religious aspect of Christmas back front and centre of proceedings, and well done to ITV for having the bottle to put this on at prime time, rather than bury it (hi BBC's 'Songs of Praise').
Whether this needs to be an annual thing I don't know, but it certainly proved to be an unexpected treat in the festive schedules.
