The biggest flaw lies in the lead performances, particularly Junaid Khan, whose portrayal lacks the natural charisma and emotional range needed for the role. His stiff and awkward delivery makes it difficult to connect with the character's struggles, especially when compared to Pradeep's engaging and dynamic performance in the original. The chemistry between the leads also falls flat, making crucial emotional moments feel forced and unconvincing.

If you're considering watching Love Yappa, you're better off seeking out the Tamil version instead. It's a far more engaging, heartfelt experience and a testament to how much strong performances and grounded storytelling matter in a film like this.

The lead actors are new (nepo kids), so giving them a little slack is understandable. Junaid was a poor cast choice for this role, but Khushi has shown some improvement. There are a few cliche moments, and the direction could have been better towards the end, but overall, it's a one-time watch. Loveyapa delivers a sweet, emotional journey that sticks with you. Screen play need some melo drama because now days audience like south indian masala.

It's for multiplex audiences not for single screen or masses.

Loveyapa is a remake of a south indian movie that I adore, so when i got to know that bollywood was making a remake of love today, I had sort of mixed reactions.

When this movie released in theatres, I was up to see what the makers had done, but the reviews made it seem as if this movie was completely awful, which is why when my elder brother was going to the theater to watch this movie and asked me to come , I did not go. However when my brother came back he told me that this movie was amazing and that i should watch this when it comes to ott, and I did and I REGRETTED not watching this movie in the theater.

This movie is absolutely amazing, screw the people who say this movie is awful, screw the people who say the 2 leading actors are awful.

The 2 leading actors speaking of which are soo damn good! I dont understand why people dont appreciate them at the least...
