"Loveyapa" is a delightful romantic comedy that offers a fresh perspective on modern love in the digital age. Junaid Khan delivers a standout performance as Gaurav, showcasing his versatility and depth as an actor. His portrayal brings authenticity and charm to the character, making the audience root for him throughout the film. The chemistry between Junaid and co-star Khushi Kapoor is palpable, adding to the film's overall appeal. "Loveyapa" successfully combines humor and heart, making it a must-watch for fans of contemporary romance. Watched it with zero expectations and enjoyed a lot. The film's direction, music, and storytelling blend seamlessly, keeping viewers engaged from start to finish. Junaid Khan proves his talent with a heartfelt and natural performance, leaving a lasting impression.
It beautifully captures the complexities of modern relationships. The performances are natural, especially the supporting characters. The lead actors are new (nepo kids), so giving them a little slack is understandable. Junaid was a poor cast choice for this role, but Khushi has shown some improvement. The dialogue is good and relatable, with well-placed jokes. The story moves at a good pace, although a few moments feel slightly stretched or predictable (many movies these days can feel that way). There are a few cliche moments, and the direction could have been better towards the end, but overall, it's a one-time watch. Loveyapa delivers a sweet, emotional journey that sticks with you. I'd give it a solid 7 out of 10 (one star extra for supporting cast).
If you're reading this-I am not a critic. I am not a cinema critic. I am a business owner. And in my company, I move faster than most people. I see things that others cannot see.
So, don't just go by what people are saying. People will always have opinions-some will praise, most will criticize. And we all know one thing about human nature: we rarely appreciate anything new. We resist it. We reject it.
But I see something here. I feel this guy (the actor) has immense talent. And more than that, the story itself has worked. The story came alive on screen. Somewhere, I sense Aamir Khan's influence-perhaps his father was involved. Or maybe, Loveyappa is the Hindi remake of the unique Tamil film Love Today (2022). Whatever the case, this movie deserves appreciation. It deserves to be shared and rewatched.
Why? Because this is our story-the exact story of the digital world.
The phone exchange-a guy and a girl swap phones, revealing their hidden digital lives.
And let's be honest, in a world full of options, haven't we all got our own digital history?
The insecure guy-a character struggling with body image, always feeling less because of his weight.
The deepfake manipulation-someone using technology to deceive, exposing the dark side of our digital reality.
Three different yet interconnected layers of truth.
And yet, just because this movie doesn't have a big star, people are dismissing it. That's unfair. This is a solid story with a strong message. I personally liked it. Maybe you will, maybe you won't-but don't listen to the morons stuck in outdated thinking. The ones who are still trapped in a mass mindset, not ready to accept how human nature actually works.
This movie is a reflection of how we truly think, react, and get fooled. And that's exactly why it deserves a 9/10.
Watch it. Understand it. And maybe, just maybe, you'll see yourself in it.

Loveyappa turned out better than I expected with its fresh take on how social media affects modern situations and everyday struggles. I feel like the film does a good job exploring issues like trust, body shaming, and deep fakes while showing how GenZ is super active online but often disconnected in real life. The contrast between their digital and real world image is shown well.
Kiku Sharda's emotional scene fits in nicely with the story and adds depth to the film's light hearted tone. Ashutosh Rana's performance was solid as usual just like he always delivers. The story and execution are engaging, but I think if the lead cast was stronger, it could have been even better. Overall, Loveyappa is a simple, feel good movie that today's digital generation can easily relate to.

I went in to watch this movie without any expectations. This turned out to be a surprise, actually a very funny movie. Both the debutant actors did not disappoint at all. The script is very funny, with good punchy dialogues. The script keeps you engaged and is slick. I did not know how did two hours went by. The male lead does justice to his role and the female lead does not disappoint for her debut movie. The character artists do justice to their roles as well. Overall, a well directed movie, which does justice to the story and is fun to watch scene after scene. I had great fun and would surely recommended it!
