Such a sweet ,feel good movie. Emotions are delivered perfectly, like we would actually feel every bit of emotions, from soft, sweet gestures to emotionally painful scenes. Wonderful direction, perfectly casted actors & richness of acting experiences of Mukesh & Innocent is reflected vividly and some lovely characters( especially the character,Bazil). The background scores also blended with the scenes flawlessly( personally I really liked the English song that comes in the beginning of the movie). The film stands out for its portrayal of a mature and wholesome love story between the lead actors, a refreshing departure from the drama-laden romances often seen in cinema today . Prepare yourselves for a heartwarming journey filled with laughter, love, and family. The film masterfully blends moments of side-splitting humor with scenes that tug at the heartstrings, reminding us of the preciousness of family bonds and the enduring power of love.

Just watched Philips movie in PVR Oberon Mall, Really loved this movie.

So Happy to watch such movie inbetween the release of big movies.

It's not like a new concept, extraordinary or something, but completely a worth watching light hearted family movie.

Really a worth watching for the family audience.

There was no any unwanted scenes, vulgar jokes or lack of duration.

Mukesh - Innocent sir combo.

Philip's, directed by Alfred Kurian Joseph, and co-written by him and Mathukutty Xavier (basically, the team behind 2019's Helen) is a watchable family drama that relies heavily on its ensemble cast. Mukesh leads from the front, playing the titular character with a potpourri of typical Mukesh mannerisms and one-liners, and is without a doubt, the film's beating heart. Seeing Innocent alongside him for the final time adds to the film's intrinsic sweetness. The first half plods along with a sense of everydayness, and the supporting cast (comprised of Noble Babu Thomas, Navani Devanand, Ansha Mohan, and a few others) lend decent support.

Hesham's music didn't work all that much for me, and none of the tracks carried that hummable quality (post-watch, i.e.). Noble Babu Thomas' acting also needs some seasoning, and just like in Helen, maybe it's wise to take some acting lessons as he sticks out in scenes (..and not in a good way..) where he's working closely with veterans like Mukesh and Innocent. Navani's performance grew on me over time, and it was in the second half that her character started showcasing more resolve. The little kid who played Bitty is very cute and did her "chess nerd" act convincingly. Now, at a certain juncture, I've got to say the film went in a different direction than expected, though as scenes progressed, one could always guess the final destination, including the dramatic routes it'd take.

P. S. The closing Innocent montage was lovely. It made me realize the kind of happiness he has contributed to our lives over the years.

Some movies are meant to be give various emotions to us and at the end of it ,we genuinely feel joy and release happy tears ; this one instantly added to that group !
