The Haunting of Julia Fields

Well this movie turned out better than I thought it would. Supposedly based on a true story this girl moves to Florida to start over from a breakup. While at her new house she starts to hear and see things. This is typical in these movie's. I tried to look up to see if it is in fact a true story but nothing is what I found. However this movie with it's little budget was really good for the money they spent. I liked the actress and the creepy landlord who turns out to be something else. Some of the shots were excited poorly yes but again small budget you get what you pay for. The haunting of Julia fields is a popcorn movie and nothing more. I do recommend you check it out.

I truly think that if you would of torched the writer and fired the director that the whole ideology of the film together along with the actress could really come through to shine in the true light that it should of. I Love the actress and absolutely can not wait for more films to come with her in them! I liked the landlord in the film as well but just camera quality and the filming together made it seem a little soapy to me. That ultimately come down to a bad director. Really the only thing that I liked about this film is the fact that the actress seems to of had more experience with acting then both the writer and director combined.

There aren't many movies that I've watched that where I finish it I feel like I've wasted my time...this however is one of those. Biggest waste of an hour and a half of my life ever!! Horrible acting, horrible storytelling, horrible storylines. It was just all around horrible. I kept waiting for something to click and have it take off, that click never came. The main character actress has potential to do good things in her career, in my opinion. However, all the supporting actors are "B" actors and actresses at best, and that's being generous. Don't waste your time like I did...you've been warned.

It's poor writing and poor acting. I kept waiting for something to give. The storyline is very basic, pretty much. We can predict about everything and anything, but if there is better acting would probably help a little bit. And then what a minimum requirement for a review? When you can't give enough about the movie. Since it's that poorly done. Did anybody recommend any new releases for scary movies? It's been a long time since a good one's, but been released. But sad Is she's moving into a rental? And nobody went over wither the guidelines for renting a place that her dad, ore, whoever she signed her contract with.

The movie started well but near the end it's dire! Not about a haunting at all. Mentally ill person sees stuff. That's it. That's the plot. The movie had good actors but the misleading title is annoying. There are many good genuinely good horror movies out there but as someone reported earlier - it's a lie about what category this is.

I'm away to read more about this (even if it was a true story) and what happened: the movie gives little depth. This could have been an episode in a tv series rather than a movie. The ghostly things itself were good and similar to what I've executed in real life. However it's a lame ending. Needs more depth and better explanation.
