Fight to Survive

This is the Worst show ever. I have never seen a show where being a bully has a reward.

The team with positive attitude and kind behavior and that is actually good at surviving off the island without the need of any "items" is considered the loosing team and the team that all they do is sleep, laziness and violence are the winners.

I am stunned that.

At least cast contenders that have same martial art background and make it challenging for all the teams rather than the sad outcome where the weak team are volunteering to leave cause they don't want to be bullied.

The creator of this show should never be allowed near a camera set again.

PLEASE DONT LET YOUR KIDS WATCH THIS GARBAGE.

If it was up to me This show should be taken off air immediately.

I've watched five episodes of this series and have come to the conclusion that If you've seen one fight on this show, you've seen them all. Terrible execution of a good concept. Using contestants from other venues is interresting, but not plausible in this circumstance because it is a straight-up physical competition where size and strength are the overriding considerations. Pick out the strongest two or three people at the beginning of the series and you already know who will win. None of the others stand a chance because intelligence and situational endurance are not necessary. Wish it had been better.

I wanted to like this. It has all the ingredients for a programme that should...should be an enjoyable watch. It has familiar people we've all seen before if you watch Survivor type shows. People who know how to use tactics, people who don't mind going without to get to a win. People who are willing to compete with each other. People from 'Survivor', 'Alone', Naked and afraid'..you get the picture. Theoretically they know what they're doing and they also know how to react to camera and be interesting. And yet it's not a good watch.

It's not about surviving, it's about fighting. It's appealing to something rather unpleasant in human nature and rewarding it.

Consequently any given episode revolves around people moaning and being genuinely uncomfortable and these are people used to survival situations. Plotting to make life as horrific as they possibly can for the others is the way to go. In other words for me it's nasty.

It goes against many of the principles of the shows a lot of them have been in before. Seems that survival principles are for sale.

What's bothering me is this trend towards who can inflict the most discomfort on the rest seems to be the way this type of show is going. Who behaves the worst and the cruelest is the featured contestant and might well win. Where is this going ?

As unlikely as that seems consider...the closing hook on an episode is that someone says forcefully they are going to make people fight for water. Really ? Water ?

Chances are this won't actually happen but it's the selling point for next week.

If you enjoy this kind of thing go for it. Not for me.

To me it's appealing to an aspect of humanity that is a concern.

I was amazed that the CW would allow this display of nastiness, avarice, and bullying to air on their network. The premise was good, survive on an island, have competitions to fight it out eliminating players along the way, and win the prize. But it quickly went wrong. Competitions were based simply on brute strength, causing an immediate unfair advantage to physically larger and stronger contestants. The others didn't stand a chance in the fight part of the competition, even though they may have been the best survivalists out there, Almost immediately those with the brute strength teamed up, and it became a game of bullying those who were weaker. In addition to that there was an extreme display of greed in the game. That led to a lot of nastiness, foul language, betrayals, and bullying. A few players bowed out rather than compromise their own morals. Many are hurt along the way both physically, with some extractions due to physical injury, and psychologically, due to the incredible displays of bullying.

Would not recommend this program for any viewer, particularly younger viewers.

This is a horrible game. Set up for violence and burial conflict. People seeing this makes the world a worse place. The conflicts aren't even interesting its just lazy people resorting to violence to get what the think they need. Through episode 2 I don't see any redeeming qualities with the contestants given the parameters of the challenge. There are huge gaps in footage and reasoning for the actions taken by contestants as well as production. Stealing resources is allowed, and officially fighting for resources is also allowed. There is only negativity in this show. I do like the host, but I feel sorry for him that he got roped up in this community destroyer.
