Visions season 2 is anything but constant in terms of the quality of the episodes. Epiaode seven stands out with the most realistc Star Wars animation and a great story. The indian touch makes it special and unique.
Music is also great, inspired by the indian culture.
It is clear by now that the non european or american studios do a better job in terms of storytelling. There are no identity politics or other woke stuff. Just great, entertaining stories. This is with the japanese episode the best of season 2 so far and I can highly recommend watching it!
Hopefully the last two episodes will not be dissapointing.

I was about to switch this one off. What is it with Star Wars sticking these annoying, problematic kids like Omega from Bad Batch into these stories? Once the antagonist appears, everything comes together and this episode switches gears into the kinetic action that the prequels introduced to Jedi duels. Not only that, but the antagonist is worth the watch for the actor's performance as well as the striking character design combining familiar Star Wars villain motifs with traditional Indian folk art. I would love to see this character in live action or even the inevitable cosplay.
Glad I didn't switch off.

Episode seven of season two of "Star Wars: Visions" comes from Indian animation studio, "88 Pictures", regular collaborators on Dreamworks projects, which does make sense with the 3D 'realistic' animation style of this one.
Whilst on a train to the city of Golak, Rani (Sonai Kaushal) accidentally reveals that she's Force Sensitive, a fact that her big brother, Charuk (Suraj Sharma) has been trying to hide. They manage to escape the Imperial forces on the train and make it to the city - but are then met by an Inquisitor (Neeraj Kabi) who tricks Rani to revealing her secret. Unbeknownst to them, they have fortunately made it to the one place of refuge, and only person on the planet who can help them.
Lots of similar themes to what we've seen before in this one. Again, Star Wars is pushed through the prism of another culture's view. This time the clothing, architecture, and food of India. Again, the plot involves a maternal mentor figure. There's a cool looking light sabre fight. There's a little less to the story of this one than there has been for some of the other ones, and perhaps it's a little lacking in surprises, but it's smart whilst it lasts and has quite a bittersweet ending. It's looks really impressive though and is reminiscent of the sort of artwork we see in existing "Star Wars" shows, like "Rebels" and "The Bad Batch".
I wouldn't particularly want to see more of this story, but it was a solid episode.

I still remember the clone wars episode with Hando~
Hando sharing some bevarages with Anakin & Obi wan
This felt better than that. Thank you.
Pretty basic story with the clone wars style of Animation.
Ranking this season best three would be 1 screechers creak ; 2 Sith ; 3 The bandits of Golak.
The episode had a great train chasing scene , i was expecting more thrill but it subdued. As usual the lightsaber battle was cool , the music & references of Indian cultural activities have been shown.
(Like slow motion in fight sequences , negotiation techniques , kind to kids irrespective of their origin.) Damn that Inquisitor was hilarious!
That kind of ending kinda broke my heart in a good way The ending is the reason why the episode has its meaning.
Gotta let go when someone 's future is in their own palms Its for their own good . Many people won't understand this or prioritize it but people in india are obsessive and/or possesive. So that ending has a powerful meaning. Believe me cause i too am an Indian So i understand the meaning behind it all.
Perfect 7.

The influences wear their heart on their sleeve with this one. It is kind of jarring to basically see "India, but Star Wars!" on display as it doesn't really feel like they made too much of an effort to differentiate it from real life, especially in the first part of the episode. The younger sibling is also pretty annoying as they refuse to listen and cause a lot of problems. Other than that, there's not much to complain about here. It's fun. The comedy attempted is somewhat successful. The sibling bond is believable. The jedi they use for the fight scene feels unique and powerful. I think they did a pretty good job with this one.
