The anime it self is a masterpiece . An anime or any movie is made with story, acting, screen play, art etc. But this anime stand's out because the animation is outstanding. And the stories are mediocre. The story is not very good or very bad actually I personally like it. This anime is very unique in animation. And other things are very mediocre. This anime is for 10 years and up . But I think the adults would not like this very much because it lacks very important things like r-rated dialogues , r-rated violence .
So yeah 👍 it lacks in many things but animation gives them a extra push to be a good anime . I suggest this animated everyone.

Demon slayer looks and sounds immaculate on the big screen. Unfortunately though, the film is ultimately three episodes stitched together - credits and all.
The first part is the last two episodes of the entertainment district arc, while the last part is the start of the next series.
The new content looks great and builds anticipation for the new series. We get to meet the rest of the upper rank demons against a familiar backdrop that is mind bendingly beautiful.
I was hoping to see some more colourful demon slayer action in this movie. Instead, a large proportion of the last part of the film is slapstick comedy and loud wailing from the characters.
All in all, I was somewhat disappointed but still enjoyed it overall.

A lot of you dislike about the movie because it's mostly recap and poorly edited together. Yes, that is true, but holy the new episode makes up for it. The cgi animation completely blows every other anime out of the water. The camera controls and large scale shots were immaculate, and the comedy afterwards was great too. And some of you may say it's bad because there were no action scenes, but I think it would be weird to expect another fight right after the last season ended. So overall, this is a great movie, but it should have been edited together more seamlessly. I did find sitting through credits 2 times midway through the movie a bit weird.
This 'film' is not a NEW movie. When you book it, it literally tells you that this is the two final episodes of season 2 and the brand new season 3 premiere.
I have no idea why so many people are moaning that they got scammed. Do they lack any patience and fail to read things before getting annoyed that their biases were wrong?
As for this showing- it's a lot of fun. Episode 10 looks amazing on the big screen, episode 11 is a gut-wrenching tale and the season 3 premiere looked amazing on the big screen.
One con is that they didn't remove the credits for episodes 10 and 11, leading to some awkward pauses in the flow.

Attention everyone: The trailers and videos for this "film" tell you exactly what you're going to see. Technically, this isn't even a new "film" persay. As it tells you in the trailer, this is Episode 10 and 11 of the Entertainment District Arc, an introduction to the Upper Rank Demons, then Episode 1 of the Swordsmith Arc. People are leaving 1-Star reviews as if they weren't aware of that going into the theaters. It clearly states what I just said, so please keep that in mind.
With that being said, it provides fans and viewers an opportunity to watch the epic finale episodes of the Entertainment District on the big screen, while also getting a first inside look at the Upper Ranks and the Swordsmith Village Arc. It's not all "new" content like how Mugen Train was a brand new movie that no one had seen, and it tells you that beforehand. That's the way I see it.
As a fan myself, I still think it's awesome to see. I'm not going to complain about watching Demon Slayer theaters. It's still the same top tier animation, epic fighting sequences, and characters that we all know and love, but displayed on the big screen!
People that are leaving a 1-Star review are just silly. Did you not read what it was before you decided to go? It tells you exactly what you're going to get, so don't act surprised and call it a "cash grab." Bottom line: it's Demon Slayer in theaters. Enjoy it while it's here and have a good time!

- TriviaDespite CrunchyRoll's attempts to make it clear this was meant to be the Season Premiere and nothing more, Many Fans were left unaware the Film was merely a Compilation and were Disappointed to find it was not an actual Movie, like the Mugan Train Film. Some also argue other anime films such as "Kaguya: Love is War: the First Kiss that Never Ends" were given limited releases to focus on marketing and releasing this film instead.
