To be completely honest, this entire season could've been 3 episodes long and shown off everything that we need to know for the next & final season of The Boys.
Despite this, compared to almost EVERY other episode in this season, this one delivers on SO much more than any other so far.
Spoiler Free Complaint: As usual, though, Ryan is still a little poorly written/directed, many of his scenes could've been more smoothly written or acted out as to not have it seem like he's jumping the gun INSTANTLY in every single situation. It does make sense for his character thus far, though, so it's likely that this was intentional. Doesn't make it any less annoying to watch through.
Honestly, not much else to say after that. It's a great finale and a perfect setup for the final season, can't wait to see how all these characters are sent off in the final season!!!!

They Changed the name of the episode from "Assassination Run" (because of the Trump incident) to just Season 4 Finale though I hope they'll changed it into a thematic-one.
Kind of an Epic Conclusion despite me having minor issues. (Starlight v Shifter, unsatisfied) Wish there were some A-Train scenes. Direction and writing-wise, top notch. Pacing felt very cinematic too. Music choices towards the end were really good. Kripke directed this well. Butcher's last scene was justified because of how the events at Grace's went and if they're gonna go with the comic (I haven't read the comic but I know about all the important stuff), I'll be very pleased.
Tbh, after this episode, it feels like that's the only way this is gonna go now. The ending was beautiful. I'm trying to avoid setting the spoiler tag (because I want this to be read plainly), which is why I'm not spoiling anything. Anyways, great finale though lacked what I expected. It was more of a Character-focused finale rather than an action-packed and for that, they deserve praise. Looking forward to the Final. 9/10.

I actually need more, it makes you want season 5 right now. What Herogasm does great, this episode actually do it a lot better, every character have time to shine, the way it drive your brain insane because of the plot twists, how it makes you think that something is going to happen for something totally different to actually happen is so crazy, the fact that theres always something happening. Just an episode full with just The Boys and Eric Kripke's magic.
It makes you think about a lot after watching the episode, whats going to happen next type stuff. Really brings up the hype for season 5, can't wait for it.

Spoiler free review here. I thought this episode set up season 5 nicely while also tying up a lot of the subplots from this season. There were several unexpected moments in this one, for sure. Also, love that Erin Moriarty got a chance to show off her acting chops, thought both she and Antony Starr (as always) were phenomenal this episode.
I'm interested to see if the cameos we saw will have any weight on the next season, and if we will get any additional closure for characters like A-Train and Ashley. All in all, I think that this season was very entertaining, but certainly felt like an exposition season for whatever insane ride season 5 will be.

This episode was incredible. It was really incredible. Sometimes you need to lay a foundation to do something really good. That's what this fourth season was. People put a lot of pressure on this season, but Eric Kripke didn't let me down. The beginning of the episode is a bit quiet, but as it goes on, the action increases exponentially. For those who say they tried to drag it out: Eric Cripke has already announced that there will be a fifth season. There is no logical explanation for saying that. The episode was supposed to be called Assassination Run, but they made a very flat name because of the events in America. It happens :). The Boys are coming back. But we'll have to wait until 2025. That's very sad. The Boys is a very happy return for me :). Butcher will take care of everything. Everything will be beautiful.
