Dva bileta v Indiyu

This film tells the story of two astronauts from a distant planet who are attempting to reach India to attend a symposium on animal protection. A malfunction causes one astronaut to be accidentally ejected, landing near a scout camp outside Moscow and transformed into a talking Tiger. Befriending a scout and her grandmother, they work together to get to India to reunite with his fellow astronaut.

Based on a story by Russian author Kir Bulychov, who wrote numerous stories involving space travel with animal cruelty themes (an odd mix), this adaptation is animated very simply with bright colours and lively pace. Nothing noteworthy about the style though, just a unusual story.
