Season 1 & 2 was some of the best pieces of television I've seen in a long time. Amazing and unique actors, with great writing & storyline. Very refreshing from the "typical" Netflix show!
BUT just finished the last episode of Season 3 and I was SO disappointed. What a cop out of an ending, the set up for a great ending was right there for the taking but they decided to end it like an elementary school student ends their first piece of creative writing.
Not worth your time if you want to be inspired and fulfilled by a show. I don't even write reviews (this is my first one lol) but I just had to for this because I've never been so disappointment by a show in my life.

Im sorry I don't often review movies or series but Ragnarok deserves being slated for its final episode!
I thoroughly enjoyed episode 1-17 and couldn't wait for the final episode, but after watching it I'd wished I hadn't seen any of them!
Dont get me wrong, the actors do a great job of following a pathetic last episode, despite the fact said last episode completely contradicts the previous 17 episodes!... If this was all in sombodys imagination, then who killed him/her/them because they're all dead in the end but apparently it was imagined? The writer's should be utterly ashamed of themselves! The last time somthing ended this poorly was Game of Thrones, and to be honest I think Ragnarok even beat that for the most lame, poorly written, utter garbage finally episode that we got left with, it as if they just gave up the storyline and came up with this! Up until now I've been recommending Ragnarok to friends and family, before writing this I sent them a DO NOT WATCH message!
What absolute utter trash this final episode was!.

In the realm of television, there are those shows that tantalize us with their potential, yet sadly fall short of delivering a truly captivating experience. Such was the case with a series that never quite managed to rise from its underwhelming origins. A concoction of meager budget, eccentricity, and missed opportunities, it stands as a prime example of what could have been, but never was.
From the very beginning, it was evident that this series was destined to dwell in the shadows of its peers. The limited budget was palpable in every frame, resulting in a production that lacked the polish and finesse required to truly engage its audience. The show's peculiar and often bizarre elements only further accentuated its struggles, with the hope of them leading to unique storytelling dashed against the rocks of confusion and incredulity.
Perhaps the most poignant disappointment came in the form of the series' conclusion. The finale, rather than redeeming the series in its closing moments, ended up being the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. It managed to encapsulate all the preceding shortcomings into a single, soul-crushing blow. The once-flickering glimmers of potential were snuffed out in an instant, leaving behind an overwhelming sense of dissatisfaction.
The entire season culminated in a display that was not only devoid of substance but also shamelessly cost-effective. It was as if corners had been cut at every turn, resulting in a spectacle that was more akin to a hasty school play than a well-crafted television series. The cast struggled to rise above the limitations they were presented with, their performances overshadowed by an uninspired script that felt as though it had been penned by a child.
And then there was the ending-a conclusion so lackluster that it managed to obliterate the scant remains of hope that still clung to the wreckage. It's a shame when a series that has had its fair share of shortcomings is further marred by a finale that seems almost purposefully designed to disappoint.
In the end, this season will be remembered as a lamentable exercise in unfulfilled potential. With a larger budget, a more coherent narrative, and a dash of creative brilliance, it might have managed to ascend from its humble origins. Alas, what could have been a beacon of ingenuity turned out to be a cautionary tale of lost possibilities and shattered dreams.

Copy/pasting my review here from the main page because the show turned into absolute rubbish.
Update 2 : Unfortunately, season 3 is utter garbage too. Absolutely doesn't feel like the same director and writers have worked on it. Maybe not, I didn't check but it's like one of those amature school projects or beginner projects. It's not supposed to be FUNNY but that's what it felt like. I was laughing because of the foolishness that was going on and realised it wasn't supposed to be funny. Unfortunately, it's not even funny funny, it's a joke. Magne goes astray but gets back on track without any lessons or character development, Odil starts asking random people to be gods and join them, they go to war but don't fight it, all of them look like cartoons standing with their weapons instead of someone who knows what they're doing. Honestly, IT'S LIKE A PARODY. I would suggest you only watch season 1 if you haven't already and want to and skip season 2 all together and just watch the last 2 episodes of season 3 to save your time.
Update 1 : 7/10 for season 2. It was very rushed and the character development seemed chopped. Everything was abrupt and so not smooth. Hope season 3 is better.
I love Marvel movies but not all the times you wanna watch a superhero movie that looks like a video game with fights but nothing else. This one takes you in-depth but never bores you. Every character is intriguing and won't feel that this one shouldn't be here. The triumph of the good over evil is shown in the most beautiful way. He's the embodiment of Thor and way more loveable, adorable and relatable than the one in the movie. You will feel what he feels in every scene. It shows you the struggles of people who are different than the norm but you won't feel like it's something you've seen or that it isn't interesting. It's also impressive how they have portrayed Isolde. She cares for the environment but she's not your usual aggressive and arrogant social media warrior arguing with everyone over it. She's warm and welcoming. I love the character Magne. I hope they DON'T stretch Gry and Magnes story any longer as this show is way more mature than this.
I just hope they keep the vibe same in season 2 and don't turn it into another stupid teenage drama with cheating, lying and oscillating back and forth between people.
