King of the Hill Season 14 is great! It keeps up with the original and really caters to the old fans, but it's relevant and funny enough for new fans to relate too! The writing, humor, and characters pick up right where the original left off.
I can't wait for more episode of the new season of King of the Hill! Hulu killed it with King of the Hill!

I like the show's attempt to update the family. You don't really see this much in sitcoms or see shows get a 2nd chance thus far down the line. To the Dale voice commenters, the original guy did the voice the first 7 episodes. Huss didn't take over until halfway through. Hardwick must have forgot his cadence because it was quite off.
Jokes aside, this truly did feel like a natural return to form for the Hill family. The humor and plots are just like I remembered, and their approach to modern politics is still the same as it was before - nonexistant. I have a few nitpicks like everyone being weirdly comfortable with swearing all of the sudden, but otherwise it still feels like we never left Rainy Street.
King of the Hill returns with "Return of the King," a heartfelt and hilariously human revival that beautifully balances nostalgia with modern relevance.
After a 15-year break, Hank and Peggy resurface from Saudi Arabia to an Arlen transformed - replete with apps, boba tea, and all-gender bathrooms. The cultural shocks underscore how deftly the show captures the uneasy familiarity of returning home.
Mike Judge's Hank remains stubbornly earnest, and Kathy Najimy delivers Peggy's trademark blend of sincerity and absurdity... especially in her potty-humor callback. Bobby, voiced by Pamela Adlon, emerges as a confident adult chef juggling ambition and nostalgia. The emotional weight of Johnny Hardwick's final performance as Dale adds poignancy to the episode.
Though transitions are sometimes heavy with exposition, the writing- led by Judges, Daniels, and showrunner Saladin K. Patterson - expertly eases us back into Arlen without sacrificing the show's cozy wit. Familiar faces like Boomhauer, Bill, and Dale's recast add resonance.
Rooted in characterization, buoyed by subtle modern humor, this premiere promises a revival that both honors its past and earns its future.

King of the hill was one of those shows that I would watch coming home from school when I was younger, with this new season it feels exactly the same , the writing , the humor, the new characters feel like they've been there the whole time, many shows can't carry the same atmosphere when they remake or add on seasons yet King of the hill has pulled this off ! Great show !
¿Sabías que…?
- TriviaToby Huss performs all of Dale's speaking lines. His other noises are sampled from a library of Johnny Hardwick sounds.
- ErroresThe Scouts inform Hank that Samoas were renamed Caramel DeLites to be more sensitive to Samoans. In reality the cookie is still called by both names and it depends on which bakery supplies a troop's cookies: ABC Bakeries is Caramel DeLites and Little Brownie Bakers is Samoas.

Peggy Hill: [after getting Bobby's voicemail] I assume this means you are too busy with your restaurant to speak to your mother who misses you and gave you life.
