You don't know what you've got til its gone. Or in some cases, you don't know what it was or meant, until it returns.
This is an absolutely fantastic take on the classic fundamentals of Hank Hill's Texas and the embodiment of the modern world.
Its hillarious for so many reasons and the nostalgia of a time, not a place, that feels so lost in todays melodramatic geopolitical climate.
This is a gift for those of us who appreciate simpler times while still trying to figure out all the subjugated BS of today's society.
Something to be appreciated and adorned by all. Its important, now more than ever, for people to understand and appreciate and respect history instead of the liberal re-writes that we have to suffer through.
This episode made me laugh and feel as comfortable as ever. With a fresh new take on the beloved characters. An older Bobby still as much an individual as he has always been. The heart & soul of the series. Never wavers and never bows down, but in a RESPECTFUL manner that us ultimately LOST on millenials.
The humor here is incredible as it transcends all borders and truly ushers in the generations in this shiny new bubble. Everything in one place, without the fear of prejudices from the "New millenial homes" (and that statement is used ironically. If you're not a Gen-X'er then you don't get it)
This episode had me crying. Easily appreciated by all, especially those of us familiar with the original. Something that respects our roots while incorporating... lets just say all the sh¡t that's been forced on us since this series ended its first run.

I like the show's attempt to update the family. You don't really see this much in sitcoms or see shows get a 2nd chance thus far down the line. To the Dale voice commenters, the original guy did the voice the first 7 episodes. Huss didn't take over until halfway through. Hardwick must have forgot his cadence because it was quite off.
King of the Hill Season 14 is great! It keeps up with the original and really caters to the old fans, but it's relevant and funny enough for new fans to relate too! The writing, humor, and characters pick up right where the original left off.
I can't wait for more episode of the new season of King of the Hill! Hulu killed it with King of the Hill!

The show feels like the old seasons, like it never left. The guy trashing Dales voice is being harsh. The voice defenitely isnt perfected yet, but overall he does a pretty good job. Give it time. It will probably get better, and you will probably get used to it. Seeing Hank and the gang felt like catching up with old friends. I hope this "new" series continues for a long time.
Dales new voice is awful ..they need to get someone else. The voice is too forced..the rest is excellent!!!!. The story is Great. How they incorporated everything from the old show.john red corn is not in very good shape..but still good. I hope Bobby gets back with Connie. Wondering if they a going to replace the voice of lueann and lucky. Hoping there will b another season. Hopefully they will have Strickland propane in the show. Just really excited for the reboot.
¿Sabías que…?
- TriviaToby Huss performs all of Dale's speaking lines. His other noises are sampled from a library of Johnny Hardwick sounds.
- ErroresThe Scouts inform Hank that Samoas were renamed Caramel DeLites to be more sensitive to Samoans. In reality the cookie is still called by both names and it depends on which bakery supplies a troop's cookies: ABC Bakeries is Caramel DeLites and Little Brownie Bakers is Samoas.

Peggy Hill: [after getting Bobby's voicemail] I assume this means you are too busy with your restaurant to speak to your mother who misses you and gave you life.
