Bang Bang Betty: Valerie's Revenge

As a low budget film it's important to take limitation into consideration. Like it's predecessor it features great cinematography and great locations, really stepping things up for the big finale of the film. Compared to the last entry, the film manages to utilize more charismatic leads and steps up the action with practical explosion and impressive stunts. However, the film's editing is very loose, with lots of dead air and awkward pauses.

Now what we see here with my title is the top review which I do not know how it is the top review. I am always unbiased but when trolls try to ruin good things for others, it is incredibly aggravating. This is a great film, do not take what that account says serious and ignore it. He rarely rates movies 1 stars so this something. He's given way worse films higher ratings

It is very apparent that our top reviewer is unaware that this masterpiece of a film is a sequel or else his comment would make sense.

And no, the acting is not a joke.

"This is a miss-at-all-cost type of cinema.". Please ignore this.

I have followed Director Alex Hwang for a good eight years and I think we always have similar journeys but seeing his movie bang bang Betty, I am really, really proud of this fellow filmmaker for making a straight up action film and doing it in a particular style that you don't really see coming from the indie genre I love how he chooses projects to set himself apart from other filmmakers, and this is something that should be studied by filmmakers to really expand and know your market and taking chances outside of horror don't give me wrong. I absolutely love horror, but this is a really really well done movie and I recommend anybody to truly give it a watch. I think this is underrated.

The release of "Bang Bang Betty - Valerie's Revenge" came swiftly, allowing audiences to dive right into Valerie's action-packed world. After successfully taking down Darnell and his criminal empire, Valerie faces a new challenge - investigating a drug cartel that's distributing lethal drugs laced with fentanyl. Driven by a personal tragedy, she's determined to destroy the cartel's leader, Sanchez, portrayed by Hector Soria. Seeking guidance from her friend Ray, played by Gerald Parrish, who's dedicated to helping local veterans, Valerie's quest for revenge unfolds in a non-stop, edge-of-your-seat crime thriller. This is a must-watch film, boasting thrilling chase scenes, intense shootouts, and explosive moments that set it apart from the average action movies saturating the market. With the hint of a third installment, anticipation for more of Valerie's adventures is building.

I really enjoyed this movie. From the gunplay, to the mano-a-mano fight scenes, to the at times over-the-top dramatics, it's clear the filmmakers had fun telling this story. Valerie is determined to bring down a major drug kingpin who is peddling laced contraband. Assisting her is a team of ex-Feds and DEA cohorts. The story takes us through the deserts and dark corners of the south. Actress Emily Rose Hernandez really owns the lead character. The movie celebrates crime drama in the mold of Tarrantino and Sergio Leone. The finale features a great Western town set with full complement of extras and all the gunplay you could ever wish for. Great movie to watch with friends - highly recommend!

Action packed from head to toe! The character dynamic between Valerie and the lead cast are well paced! The choeragraphy action sequences. Elevate the supense and drama throughout the story. And is narrative driven and character explored within the protaganist and antaganist roles. Nothing is left out and it feel like a fun roller coaster of twists and turns. A big jump in quality from the first film into the second once again!

The production value and amazing cinematagraphy captures the essence of the look they were going for! Bringing a new chapter that compliments itself and in future sequels to come!
