A remarkable work in regional cinema of Bihar. Nitin Chandra has once again showed the path to the indie filmmakers that how do you make a tight packed thriller with a limited budget and crew. You won't believe the fact that OTT giants like Netflix and Amazon refused to release the earlier films of Nitin Chandra on their platform. Then and there, Nitin sir decided to make their own OTT platform with name Bejod. Now when the movie Jackson Halt is released and getting amazing responses from every section of the movie lovers, Bejod ott will get its due recognition.

If someone likes watching suspense thriller crime type of movies then he must watch this movie. This is a regional language film which is Maithili language and this film is not available in Hindi or English. I would still say that you must watch this film, it is not that difficult to understand Maithili language, you can watch it with subtitles. The film is about a traveler at Jackson Halt, a small railway station in Madhubani. You will have to watch the entire film to see who the passenger is, what happened to him and how. This movie is so good that I can compare it with movies like Drishyam, U turn, Ratasasan, Forensic etc.

Natural lighting in the flick gives it a very elevated sense of realism which is often lost in the cliched commercial cinema made in our country. The subtle music is a strength to what is superb viewing even for a non Maithili speaker like me whose mother tongue is Tamil. The main cast are brilliant in their performances and hold you on a knife edge with their obviously pedigreed histrionic skills. As a fan of realistic cinema i could not resist imagining Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi in the role brilliantly played by Ram Bahadur Renu if ever this brilliant flick was to be adapted in Tamil.

Watched the movie at the behest of a friend who is a Maithili speaker and truth be told this experience was better than I had imagined.

Kudos to the director, producer and the three main protagonists for making this a worthwhile viewing experience.

Can't believe this is Maithili film!!!!!!

Strong script, effective screenplay, perfect background score, superb cinematography, brilliant Direction and stellar performances by the actors.

Expression of station master reminded Ashutosh Rana (from movie Sangharsh) and Anthony Hopkins (from Silence of the Lambs).

This is a must watch movie, there is no language issue as this available with English sub title also.

During watching the movie, you will never felt that this movie is in a regional language and shooter at a very interior area of Bihar.

Congratulations to the entire team of this movie. I felt like watching a Hollywood suspense thriller. It's really a great movie.

You should watch this movie if 1. You are from Bihar and feel proud about it 2. You are from mithila region and feel great about it.

3. You are admirer of talents from Bihar state.

4. You like to watch suspense thriller .

5. You are okay with some degree of violence.

I saw it two time on Bejod app by renting. Everyone from mithila region should rent this movie and watch, please don't search for pirated one. The producers should be encouraged to make such great movies.
