Incredibly amazing episode. This series has incredible qualities, a great picture. Full of diverse events, as well as a great game of talented actors. This season ended on a great note. Thanks to this episode, a new breath opens up and a strong foundation for the future continuation. I advise you to watch this episode if you want to get an unforgettable experience, as well as have a great time. This series is only gaining momentum and at such a pace it will stun us more than once. The drama and soulfulness of this episode, complemented by good humor, leave no choice but to fall in love with the series more and more.
Young Sheldon started out as the story of Sheldon Cooper of the Big Bang Theory as a young child. Somewhere along the way, the story became better when it was about Missy, George, Georgie, Connie and sometimes Mary. Sheldon is probably the least likeable character because he gets away with too many things because Mary protects him.
Almost nowhere to be seen in the early season was Sheldon getting the treatment he referred to when he was an Adult (being locked into a locker, being given swirled, etc.). Mostly, it was Sheldon being a rather nasty little creep.
Meanwhile, Missy and Georgie grew as characters. George was shown as a caring father who (has he not been blocked by Mary) might've helped Sheldon become a more aware human.

I love young sheldon. The cast are perfect. I love george's character. So far george has been a great dad & a husband. Don't kill him in the upcoming season. He doesn't deserve a ending like this.
You guys don't have to follow TBBT, just let the show go on. We love this show. The show is a complete package of humor, love, drama, comedy. Greatest ever.
Just prove sheldon wrong about his dad or something like spin off would be great.
I just want to let the cast know that, You guys dont have to follow TBBT, WE all love young sheldon more than TBBT. Just Carry on.
I hope the writter's gonna figure something out. Killing george would be a terrible ending, So don't do it for the sake of fans. Cheers.

His attempt to apologize to Missy was one of those moments. Kudos to the production for staging the aftermath of a tornado. It looked very realistic.
When this show first aired, even though I was a fan of TBBT, I didn't think this spinoff would be worth my time. I was wrong. I'm a Texan and I think the depiction of Texas culture in the late 80s/early 90s is very well done.
Yes, Sheldon is annoying and obnoxious, but that's his character. IRL, he probably wouldn't have made it to adulthood. His brother and sister and very well developed. All the characters and the actors who play them are very believable.

This was a touching emotional rollercoaster. While we all knew that the ensemble of characters were going to be ok, it was still exciting to see them battle adversity together.
The standout of the episode was definitely Missy's arc, which was undoubtedly the strongest of the season. Watching her grapple with her feelings about her relationship with her family was both heartwarming and relatable. Her scene with her father in the mud was great.
It was a patchy season with some stories taking forever to move, but this was a strong episode. I wish the writers would get to the good stuff sometimes and not just tease.

- TriviaThe Warner Bros. Ranch back lot, where the exterior of Meemaw's house was filmed, has been sold to another company for sweeping renovations and is scheduled for demolition. The scene of the house with "tornado damage" was shot during demolition and the house is now gone. EDIT: This is fortunate timing, as Sheldon goes to Germany for the summer and in La teoría del Big Bang (2007): The Pancake Batter Anomaly (2008), he tells Penny that he was alone in Germany due to his mom having to return home due to tornado damage because "the house had slipped off the cinder blocks again" due to it being an aluminum house. This episode seems to be retconning it to Meemaw's house being destroyed instead, particularly since both houses have always been depicted as stick-built houses, neither one being aluminum nor on cinder blocks. UPDATE: Oct, 2023: The Warner Bros. Ranch back lot has been leveled. All the historic television and movie locations have been torn down and hauled away. Even the pool has been emptied, torn up and filled in. A sad day for the entertainment industry.
- ErroresThe exterior shot of Sheldon's aircraft in flight is of a Boeing 787 Dreamliner in the Continental livery, a model not introduced until 2009 and never flown by Continental Airlines. This episode takes place in the 1990s. EDIT: The aircraft type appears to be a 777, a type introduced in the mid-1990s. Continental operated several Boeing 777s from 1998.

Missy Cooper: [Crying] I'm sorry! I'm sorry for everything! I've been awful and I don't even know why! I really do love you and Mom and I don't actually hate Sheldon! I'll be better, I promise!
