Two Paths

WHAT. AN. EPISODE. WHAT. A SHOW.

We have just witnessed the end of the first chapter of Vinland saga. This episode may not be the last in its season, but it concludes the farming arc of Vinland as we move on in the story. And boy was this a perfect episode.

This episode focuses on Thorfinn and how he changes people. We see so many characters have development all come together, and it leaves us so satisfied to see the likes of Gardar and Snake and Throfinn himself find closure in this story plotline. We see that Thorfinn has already atoned for much of his sins in this episode, and the promise he has made is what founds the rest of the show.

MAPPA were not holding back here - artstyle was stepped up to top level. The eyes on the characters, the facial definition, the music and, most prominently, the SKY and colours were amazing. I have never see such a visually beautiful and artistic episode of anime.

I think this episode emphasizes how love and peace, not war, can change a man for the better. And that is a truth. A fact and something we all can agree on.

This episode was the most beautiful anime i've ever watched in my anime history.

I've never felt this much heart warming and exciting, peaceful ever.

Never imagined that this anime would make me change my vision in life.

People wanting fight scenes from beginning and me too i was kinda don't understand that meaning of this, but now i see its telling us a kind of message to us.

Animation detail, characters growth was awesome, Canute, Thorfin, Einar growth much in this episode.

Vinland saga never disappoints me from Season 1 amazing fight scenes, Season 2 heart warming, beautiful episode's, make me think of what i have and how expensive it is, freedom.

No other word needed its just PURE MASTERPIECE.

Vinland Saga definitely #1 anime for me from now.

This anime is freaking good. Every single episodes so far this season feel like last episode of the season but heck no there's more episodes! The soundtrack and animation and storytelling is top tiered. MAPPA the studio that animated this does a wonderful job. You can tell they don't slack off. Especially this episode. The ending felt like a movie. I thought I was watching a movie on the big screen. You gotta watch it in high quality tv with nice surround sound to appreciate the quality this anime brings. I'm telling you this anime deserved best anime of 2023. I can't stop raving about this anime. Definitely a must watch you won't regret it!

This felt like the epic culmination of one of the best character arcs you can ask for! Despite there being one episode left, there was a sense of finallity to it!

This was an emotional and overwhelming experience that remains as one of the best episodes of the series and proves a masterpiece dont need violence! The themes of war and violence was ongoing this season and this episode wraps it all up in spectacular fashion!

This is not about finding a reson to live! This is about just living, driven by peace.. not war or violence! This is about a man who found his place in this world and escaped the hatred that drove him for all those years!

Thorfinn has reached legendary status after this episode! Truely an icon! The character work is astronomical! Soundtrack and animation were great as well!

After the major development of a sheer amount of characters throughout season two, this episode is where a lot of that comes to fruition. Canute makes a hard choice. Olmar truly develops into a better man. Thorfinn makes the right decision in being a True Warrior. This episode is an accumulation of this entire season's intentions. To be honest, this could've been the season finale, yet I can only imagine how amazing that will be next week. This episode was PHENOMENAL in every way. I believe that the decisions of Canute will further affect his own life and the two kingdoms far more than anyone could imagine and being fruition to Thorfinn's personal goals.
