In a flashback, Empress Beatrix rises to power with the help of Lord Ras who has captured a giant Source Dragon.

A Resistance is formed within Imperium, but the Empress has finished creating the MergeQuake weapon.

Lloyd uses the three Dragon Cores to end the MergeQuakes and free the Source Dragon from below the Imperium.
