The writers,Julie Rottenberg & Elisa Zuritsky have been credited in two episodes in season 1. However the addition of Michael Patrick King for those episodes seems to have been a hinderance because THIS episode is the first good one of the entire series. Laugh out loud funny, emotional and well-formatted. It also is the first episode to blend everyone together cohesively instead of using the new characters as forced, one dimensional diversity on the side props. Only drawback is the adults' sexual objectification of a minor which seems to be all the rage these days though. I hope the duo are allowed to write more but I do fear MPK et al will bring the tone down yet again with typically bad scripts we have been subjected to prior. I had to write a review because these women really showed how to do this series well. Bravo.
Wow. That's all. Wow. I can feel that "And Just Like That" is going back to its "Sex And The City" roots. A blast. The plot was amazing, and the emotions this episode was also out of the world. Sarah Jessica Parker is coming back to the "Real" Carrie. Truly she will get a Emmy nomination from this. I'm still on the fence about Che - I mean she is great and the character development we have gotten on her is good, but I feel like we need more, to truly understand and love her. "And Just Like That" has truly makes their stamp in this world - just like "Sex And The City" did. Not the only thing missing is Samantha.
They all talk so slow and if they have to hold oral retainers in their mouths and WHY HAVE THEY MADE MIRANDA SO INCREDIBLY STUPID?
I absolutely can't stand how weak and yet narcissistic they have made Miranda.
Carrie is predictably fragile .....so whatever.
Charlotte is just dwelling in that lame mommy circle and it's just so over done.
This series is very disappointing. The core girls are just so annoying so thank god for the three new ones.
A stolen Birkin bag was anticlimactic.
The stolen jewelry scene fell flat. How much more nonsense can this show display.
I want my hour back. I've tried but it's just such a yawn fest.

I haven't rated or reviewed SATC. I haven't even rated or reviewed this show's main page. But, I'm rating and reviewing this episode because it is *that* good.
TBH, I've been watching this show out of nostalgia. I haven't been looking forward to new episodes, mostly because I have found all previous episodes to be near-cartoonish and forced in story, directing and acting. Finally, we have an episode that returns to form with heart and honesty. Finally, there is a story that brings about great chemistry between the new characters and original characters.
This episode was written in such a way that the story felt natural instead of contrived. If it continues, I will be looking for it every Thursday. Fingers crossed!

I finally got around to watching this and it's really not as bad or cringy as everyone makes it seem. The social issues can be a little heavy handed at times but they go quick before you're on to the next scene. I think the added characters work pretty well considering how hard it is to pull off doing a show with the loss of one of the main (and fan favorite) characters. Charlotte really shines in the reboot compared to the original series as well. I never cared much for her or her storylines, but she's very well written in the reboot and much more likable. Looking forward to Rosie O Donnell in the next season!!!

- TriviaBrady is supposed to be in Amsterdam, but the filming didn't take place in the Netherlands. The buildings with airconditioner hanging out of the windows are very American and the license plates aren't Dutch.
- ErroresAt 37:41, Seema obviously pulls out a fake Birkin bag out of the dirt. The bag is unstable and looks like plastic instead being made of leather. The real bag is shown later again.
