This is the absolute worst ending to a tv show I personally have ever witnessed . The series itself "Jumped the shark" at least 3 times and then managed do it it another 3 times in this episode alone
. If I was on the writing staff for this episode , I would be so disappointed in myself . It was absolute drivel. Season 8 was poor from the start and they really should have ended it when Morgan,s story ended and even that was terrible . I have never given a score so low , especially for a show I had really enjoyed ,even at one time thought it was superior to the Walking dead itself. The Walking dead ending wasn't perfect but it was enjoyable . That was just bad bad bad . It actually made The Walking Dead World beyond look good and that show poop
Shame on you whoever was responsible for writing this absolute Dung heap 💩 of an episode.

Another TWD series that went on for about 5 seasons too long. Having invested so much time on the series I felt obliged to see it through to the bitter end, it's like going to funeral just to make sure the person is really dead!
The herd of dead seems to increase exponentially to suit the required level of peril needed as does the ammunition supply, after the fight at the garage there appears to be about 10 corpses at most! At the Fort the boat load of zombies only go to the back of the Fort because they send a flare in that direction instead of climbing over the wall to escape, basic survival sense seems to be lacking in most characters.
How long can TWD keep recycling the same old story and plots? I can't bring myself to watch the spin-offs as it will be the same crap in slightly different scenery.
Save yourself the time and just watch George A Romero movies instead.

I swear, this show would have been better had AI written it. This show started out really fascinating. The first season wasn't as good as TWD, but it was really good. The writing in Fear got so bad by season 7 that I couldn't even talk other diehard TWD fans to watch it anymore. They weren't wrong.
This finale was entirely appropriate for the schmaltzy, hacky mess this show has become, and a hollow pantomime of the show it could have been. I know that some of the actors are of real quality, and I have to believe that some of them read this and thought, "Thank god it's finally over." Especially after seeing how good the first season of Daryl Dixon was, I have not given up on the franchise, but FTWD will go down in TV history as one of the greatest disappointments of all time.

After all these years of mixed emotions, FearTWD provides a decent finale that should satisfy most fans.
My problem with this finale is that it simply feels rushed, I'm very satisfied with how the show ended, however I can't help but feel relieved that it's finally over.
When Fear was still in its early days, the audience was already writing it off, well you know what, sucks for them.
Through all the craziness, heartbreaking, controversial, moments that this series brought us, they managed to make it about the Clarks in the end. It started with the Clarks, and ended with the Clarks.
This series brought a lot of world building, diversity, and brilliant characters to The Walking Dead franchise.
It's been an exhausting journey, but it's finally over.
We can all relax now!
Thank you Dave Erickson.

Not sure if the blame goes to the Casting Director, show's head, but this Tracy character as written and acted is f'ing brutal...I had missed last few seasons of FTWD so I've been binging past week, and my God, what the hell happened to this show?!? And this Tracy character, (is she or isn't she Alycia's daughter?) is just terrible. I've never rooted for a child character to be eaten whole by a rotting zombie, but alas, lol, forgive me, I keep waiting for her to shut up and be gobbled up...And Yet she keeps surviving.
Shame on me for being a completist, and forcing myself to suffer thru these remaining episodes, the ridiculousness keeps getting topped in every episode... Nice of Alycia to pop in outta nowhere, lol, her agent notified her it was the final episode and a quick few minutes of camera time and she can pocket a nice 6 figure check?
Great job by the good ol' St Christopher Medal saving Madison with a clutch bullet stopping save.
Strand gets to see the 3 generations of Madison, Alycia & adopted zombie child Tracy (why didn't a zombie eat her, the horror...). Good bye FTWD, that didn't end well...

- TriviaObscured in the auto body garage that everybody holds up in is a 1981-1983 DeLorean, which is the same car used as the time machine in Back to the Future (1985). It is very briefly seen from the side when Tracy goes to hide by it, and is out of focus in the background as Victor and Daniel talk. It's as if the filmmakers were trying to hide the vehicle.
- ErroresMadison knocks off gas container's spouts, causing them to leak their contents. Madison then secures herself behind a metal door with an open slot. She lights a flair and throws it through the slot, which ignites the gasses and causes an explosion. When a gas explosion of this magnitude occurs, it consumes all of the oxygen in the area. Madison could not have survived, she would have suffocated. However, before throwing the flair, Madison puts on an oxygen mask on, which is mentioned in a later scene.
