I wasn't sure what to expect going into The Monkey, but I was really impressed with how it turned out. The film does a great job of capturing the eerie, unsettling tone of Stephen King's story without leaning too heavily on jump scares. The tension builds slowly and really sticks with you.

The performances are strong and believable, which made the supernatural elements feel even creepier. I also thought the sound design and pacing worked really well. Little details like the toy monkey's presence made the atmosphere feel genuinely disturbing.

Overall, this is one of the better King adaptations in recent years. It's creepy, well-made, and memorable. If you're a fan of psychological horror with a touch of the supernatural, it's definitely worth watching.
