This movie was a waste of my time, and I'll regret losing the time for the rest of my life. The horror aspect was overshadowed by the extended talking scenes, that had no true development of characters or even any bearing on the plot. I'd hoped that it would redeem itself through the characters or through scenery at the very least, but it truly was a low budget rip-off.
I am usually able to force myself through movies that I don't particularly enjoy, but I had to truly force myself for this one, and I regret it. The fight scene(read scene in quotations) made me laugh. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone at all, not even as a joke.

Yeah, this is Asylum work right here. Get an idea from a future movie, slightly make it different and call it your own. Never been a fan of this, even tho a few such productions were 'so bad its good', but sadly Freddy's Friday misses the mark.
It really is a bland movie, with hollow characters, little to no plot, 0 development, what you see from the very first minutes is also the ending, and one truly laughable third act fight scene. One of the absolute worst, like those 70's low budget kung fu scenes.
No reason to recommend this, it is quite bad, no real moving forward with the story and an ending to fit the entire movie. Look elsewhere, this is bad
Cheers!

Look, people don't have to like the Five Nights at Freddy's movie, but good god, this movie doesn't try to hide it. Like, after this train wreck, people need to apologize to the Five Nights at Freddy's movie.
Movies like The Banana Splits Movie and Willy's Wonderland, at least tries to do SOMETHING unique with their movies and helps them stand out, but Freddy's Fridays does nothing engaging to even stand out from the rest.
But hey, when you got the people behind "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey" on this, it's best to make sure you have ZERO expectations. They don't even bother trying to change the poster and the name of the mascot! So do you REALLY expect this company to try and think outside of the box?
At least the Five Nights at Freddy's movie has incredible practical effects and animatronics, likable characters, cool settings, and it at least tried! Yes, the movie has it's flaws, but you can't say that there is no effort or passion in the FNAF movie. If they didn't care, they easily could gone the "Blood and Honey" route and got garbage Freddy Fazbear masks, and called it a day. But that's not what they did now, is it?
So while I appreciate projects like The Banana Splits Movie, Willy's Wonderland, The Hug, etc. For at least trying with their movies, Freddy's Fridays is a Five Nights at Freddy's ripoff that's best for everyone, to be forgotten.

I'm not even going to address the details of this dumpster fire they call a movie. I want to know how these movies get made? What studios are handing out money for these movies. You're seriously telling me that a movie like this can get green lit and funded knowing that it will never get a theatrical release and never make that money back? But a movie like Deadpool sat on a shelf for 13 years and only got made because Ryan had to "accidentally" release some of it online. This is the world we live in?!?!
This is why the movie industry is dying, wasting money on crap like this. And because studios are wasting money on movies that not even lifers in prison would watch if it was their only option, really good movies get their budgets cut, or they just keep remaking the same movies over and over because it would cost too much money to buy original quality scripts. There are so many other movies that took writers and actors decades to get made because the studios wouldn't fund them, and when they finally do get made they turn out to be Oscar worthy movies, while over those decades money is being thrown away to pieces of crap like this! I mean please be honest, not the producer, writer, director, actors or distributors thought that this movie was going to add anything to the industry, it is never going to be the movie that some great entertainer accepting an award someday says was their inspiration. This movie is equivalent to some teens that found a camera and made a movie in their backyard, only with an actual budget and pretty girls.
And I'm sorry to be this mean but if you are an actor who can't seem to get a part in any movies other than these, then you really should have taken the hint by now, if all that is required to act is too remember words, fake emotions, and make faces to match that emotion or to look like you're reacting to something then everyone should be acting... Especially the women 😉 right ladies.
It just infuriates me to the core. There are good bad b horror films that I've either loved or at least got a kick out of them. This is there definition of RAGE WATCHING! Do better filmmakers!

This movie is bad. Very bad. The title and the demons are an obvious attempt to ride the coattails of the inexplicable popularity of Five Nights at Freddy's, and the main demon is even called Freddy, though they make a point of letting you know that his real name is Frederique. Gotta' be legally distinct, I guess. Just like the book that summons these Party City costume "demons" is legally distinct from the Necronomicon.
But they repeatedly say that the demons can only be summoned on Fridays, but they show up one time on a Saturday. You might watch this and wonder why the protagonist and her boss keep talking about how they need to call for backup, but never actually do it. My guess is they couldn't afford any other actors.
An awful movie, but I raised my rating from one star to two, because the lead actress Danielle Scott seems like she's actually a pretty good actress. I'm convinced that a couple of scenes where she loses her cool weren't scripted, and it was actually Scott getting frustrated with how bad the script was. But then she reminded herself to be professional, and that she was getting paid. Just my theory, though.
But her being talented and attractive isn't enough to recommend the movie. It's still very bad.
