Day of a Lion is a very delightful indie film!! Bianca and Dilana always keep you guessing through out the film. The cinematography is interesting. Definitely worth the watch!! The dancing scenes were entertaining and moving! Looking forward to what the Foscht Sisters have planned for the future!!!!
Watching Day of a Lion felt different because it wasn't just any movie it was created by my close friend Bianca Foschat. Sitting there, I kept thinking about how much heart and dedication she poured into this project, and you can feel it in every scene. It's raw, powerful, and unforgettable. I couldn't be more proud of her-this is truly her moment to shine.
A fantastic independent film using a single location to show two sisters trapped by the very home they so bitterly wish to take from the other. Great filmmaking for a couple of talented young filmmakers who used creativity and technique rather than flashy gimmicks to build suspense, and keep you engaged all the way through the end. A film I'd highly recommend a viewing of.
Day of a Lion is an outstanding indie film that had me hooked from the very first moment until the end. The story of the two sisters is not only thrilling but also deeply touching and full of emotion. The atmosphere is built with incredible care, every scene feels meaningful and pulls you further into the narrative. The performances of the actresses are absolutely convincing and give the film a unique intensity. If you are into independent cinema, this film is not just worth watching...it's a must! For me, it's a true highlight and a shining example of how powerful indie films can be.
Day of a Lion, proofed to me once again that there still is hope for our film industry and that true movie magic can be found in rare indie gems,- such as Day of a Lion. Hauntingly beautiful images, great performances,- and dark topic matters. The play-like written dialogue almost reminds of Yorgos Lanthimos' "The Killing of a Sacred Deer" and fits the world the movie is set in perfectly.
This movie is for anyone who has lost hope in cinema or has simply watched enough "pre-quals and se-quals".
Let's bring back more original IP's such as Day of a Lion!
Excited to see what the filmmakers do next.
