From its compelling storyline to its remarkable cast and breathtaking cinematography, this drama offers an unforgettable viewing experience.
The plot is intricately woven, filled with twists and turns that kept me eagerly anticipating each episode. The character development is outstanding, and I found myself deeply invested in the lives and struggles of the protagonists. The lead actors' performances are nothing short of phenomenal, bringing their roles to life with passion and authenticity.
One of the standout aspects of "Yun Zhi Yu" is its stunning visuals. The picturesque landscapes and beautifully crafted sets transport viewers to a world of enchantment. The attention to detail in the costumes and the overall production design is commendable, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the story.
Moreover, the drama's exploration of themes such as love, sacrifice, and the pursuit of one's dreams resonated deeply with me. It not only entertains but also leaves you with valuable life lessons.
In summary, "Yun Zhi Yu" is a masterpiece in the world of Chinese drama. It combines a gripping narrative with outstanding performances and exquisite visuals to deliver a truly unforgettable experience. I liked the series as a whole even if the ending is unsatisfying. I loved the setup and world building, I thought the acting of most actors was decent and I loved the story. This is why I gave it a seven.
I gave it only a seven because I had a problem with the actress playing the sister. What was the purpose of the older sister's role anyway except as a comic relief? Even as a joke she was truly terrible. I'm not sure if it was the actress herself or the acting directions but the result was embarrassing and actually unnecessary.
If the whole side story of the sister was cut off through the editing, nothing whould be missing in the story. She was loud, weird and looked deranged at times.

This is a remarkable original story with a superb quality production. It was spectacularly well made.
A work of art, literally. The sceneries, backgrounds customs, music, fight choreographies.... Everything about this drama speaks quality.
The script is fantastic and the dialogues are tell you just enough. This is the kind of series where you cant event trust what you see, because you never know if what you are seeing is the full picture or just part of it. The art of deception.
At some point You will think you have everything figured out and that there's holes in the plot and how the characters are so dumb to have let the villains deceived them for so long.... and them the plot twist comes!
I honestly didn't expect those turns of events at all.
The weakest part about the drama was unfortunately the main leads.
I was looking forward to finally watch Ester Yu in a drama where she wasn't just winning and talking like a 3 year old baby the whole time ( she has only dramas like that) but to my disappointment playing this character she had one expression the whole time. It was extremely monotonous to watch. You didn't feel a difference between her scenes at all. I could not perceive any emotions from her.
My favorite character was without a doubt the elder sister Zi Yu, played by Jolin Jin, what a performance, she literally lighted up the screen everytime she was on. What a personality.
And the second male lead and second female lead ( Lu Yu Xiao and Ryan Cheng) stole the show with their chemistry, gazes and interactions, it was very powerful to watch.
Many people are upset about the ending, and if we are being honest they could have continued for a few more episodes and gave us proper closure, BUT, to me what they told us in that ending is clear and makes sense, so im satisfied with it.
Amazing series, go watch this jewel.

I really like Esther Yu! She's so beautiful, her gaze and expressions are perfect. The story is interesting, mysterious, and intricate. The storylines of each actor are unpredictable! I'm very curious about who the leader of WuFeng is and what will happen between Esther Yu and Linnghe Zhang in the future! Will Esther Yu choose to betray WuFeng, or will she choose to help WuFeng?

MY Journey to you is an enthralling TV series that weaves an intricate tale of desire for freedom, love, and self-discovery. This series effortlessly blends action-packed sequences with heartwarming moments of love and friendship. What I truly appreciate is how it manages to balance the intensity of the assassin's life with the tender aspects of Yun WeiShan's experiences.
Esther Yu's performance as Yun WeiShan is nothing short of remarkable. She flawlessly portrays the character's inner conflicts and complexities, making her journey incredibly captivating and relatable.
The on-screen chemistry between Yun WeiShan and the rebellious Gong ZiYu is electric. Their relationship unfolds in a way that keeps you hooked, and their moments of connection are simply heartwarming.
