More than half the season is just useless chatter against the backdrop of nothing happening at all. It seems that the authors themselves don't know what to come up with and are just stalling for time. It is unlikely that I will watch the next season.
And the characters on the show are astonishing in their low-level ingenuity. What prevented them from blocking the exit from the cave with stones or setting traps for monsters to fall into the pit and you can see what happens to them in the daytime? If bullets can't take them, maybe an axe will? What about gasoline? No, it's more important for them to chat, competing to see who is more disturbed by the ongoing absurdity, although the answer to this question is obvious: the viewer!

I'm honestly wondering if this is even the same show we watched in Season 1.
Season 3 started off decent, but after Episode 4, it feels like they just decided to stretch things out for more seasons, and now we're stuck with three episodes of almost nothing happening.
The whole thing with Fatima and her mysterious pregnancy just isn't that interesting-or at least they somehow made it not interesting. And now there's this lady in a robe suddenly at the center of the story? Where are all the intriguing elements from before: the monsters, the boy in white, the spiders, the children, the faraway tree, the lighthouse, the crows, the guy on the radio? So much of what made From fascinating has been sidelined.
And don't get me started on the flimsy plot device involving Julie... It feels like a lazy attempt and raises more questions than it answers. Are we watching a time-travel show now? What??
Even the acting feels off this season. They've got some solid actors, but nothing seems to be working. The scene between Jake and Jade was just bad, which is disappointing since Jade is my favorite character, and that's how bad the writing has gotten.
I'll give it the two episodes left, but if nothing changes, I'm not sure I'll bother with the next seasons.

Struggles with narrative coherence, leaning too heavily on last-minute twists that feel inconsistent with previous episodes. Victor's long-awaited lore dump, while intriguing, seems like a forced exposition drop rather than organic storytelling. The sudden focus shift to the Boy in White as a pivotal figure leaves Jasper's arc unresolved, adding complexity without real payoff. Additionally, Elgin's cryptic role and his unsettling influence over Fatima do little to clarify the overarching mystery, creating confusion rather than suspense. The time-travel twist with Julie, while bold, risks alienating viewers by introducing more questions without real answers.
With just two episodes left in Season 3, I'm not sure how they're going to pull off a satisfying conclusion. Episode 8 was packed with twists that felt more confusing than exciting, and I'm left with more questions than answers. The shift to focusing on the Boy in White over Jasper, and the confusing time-travel elements with Julie, seem like last-minute decisions that don't fit well with the established story.
It's obvious they're setting up for a fourth season, but this one feels like the weakest yet. I'm hoping the final episodes redeem it, but right now, I'm skeptical.

What am I watching at this point ? They stuff so much nonsensical and uninteresting stuff in there and completely abandon what was interesting in the beginning of that show. Fatima stabs someone. Drama. Old yelling woman comes in and then blah blah. Cut, next couple of people going blah blah. 95% of that show is an insult to my brain. I feel like we won't see a fourth season and it's probably for the better. Sad it is. Season one was already far from greatness but it delivered on the horror and was really scary at times. None of that is left. Only the same all the time. Nonsensical conflicts and pointless dialogues. I am tired of this. They brought some new characters in. What have we learned about them ? Absolutely nothing.
Let be honest we all agree ep 7 was so bad
but ep8 its a start for something big
we wont get any answers that's clear
the still only 30 ep and that's not long
for a show with this kind they always give a lot of questions to keep you hook. Let us just sit and watch and wait to see what next
the only bad part we have to wait so long for next season
and this ep doesn't deserve such hate
i can understand about ep 7
and lets pray the show wont get canceled .
But fatima and her mysterious pregnancy doesn't deserve to be the season conclusion its feel like its the only plot moving forward but still slow .again a lot of question and no answers and to many slow plots at the same time.
