-What a great season 3 premiere! Most shows have slow season premiere episodes that build the foundations of the story that will unfold that season. This is not one of them... From's season 3 picks up right from the season 2 finale without skipping a beat! And the episodes closing minutes were a masterclass in filmmaking. Serving intense & raw emotion to the viewer like a sous-chef!
-From has a good chance to become one of the best shows out right now. After a strong season 2, that was a big improvement from season 1, it would be a #1 show of the year candidate if the rest of season 3 is just as good as this episode. So, if you haven't already, I highly suggest you get a MGM subscription and come visit Fromville with the rest of us every Sunday for a wonderfully mysterious, dramatic, psychological thriller of a tv show!

The wait between seasons 2 and 3 felt like an eternity as will the week that separates the release of episodes in season 3, evidently.
Season 1 was a total banger and while season 2 dropped a little bit in terms of shock and awe, it was still a great season, solidifying this shows status as some of the greatest horror TV available today.
This episode was a great reintroduction to the storyline and without getting into spoiler territory, the lore and universe continues to be expanded upon as the mystery continues to unfold. If anything you may be able to complain things are moving at a seemingly slow pace but that's also more of a symptom of a weekly trickle and 8 episode seasons than anything else.
9/10 - eagerly awaiting next weeks addition.

People need to relax. After what I thought was an absolute disaster of a season 2 this season premiere opened up very well and ended quite crazy. For those saying there's nothing new in plots I beg to differ. The wife who is now in Maine is a brand new plot to the story as she tracks down Victors father. Remember Victor is an original character in the village so unlocking information about him will lead to more about where they are. You have the Korean kids grandmother who they left on a cliffhanger if she's dead or alive. The townspeople are now at the beginning of the end with no food or resources being available. The monsters are starting to get very bold slso. We got a small look at the end inside how they operate and frankly their intelligence and role in this whole "experiment" or whatever it is that is going on. This episode was as good as any last season. If you want great writing and substance along with Emmy nominated acting then you're watching the wrong show people. Go to another Chanell for that. This episode was creepy and has that "walking dead" kind of feel, meaning you have many characters coming and going (if you know what I mean) and many different plots happening all at once. So it's a great start to a 3rd season where I'm really hoping they tie into the reason why they are there and who is really behind all of this. The characters are getting more interesting . It's the season premiere!! Everyone wants all the answers to things in the first episode of the season and that's just silly. Let's see where it goes, but for someone who almost ditched the series after last season they have me back on the hook for now. Let's hope they keep it up and don't go backwards.
I gotta say IMDB reviews have gotten so unreliable. So many sham reviews it's ruining IMDB.

I'm in my late forties and that is the first time in over 20 years that I have been scared by a show or a movie . I see some people rating it low ,I don't understand why , It was scary and intense and emotional and continues to keep me guessing . I really enjoyed and I'm excited for the next episode. It does seem like a horror version of lost, obviously its hard not compare the two shows , that does worry me a little that it is going end in the same way . I am now just going to put random letters and words to reach the required amount of text. Via blah blah oranges Jacob

Great start to the show. Sad I have to wait another week for the next episode but I miss looking forward to episodes coming out like the old days and this show has me in a chokehold so I don't mind it. I cannot wait for it to unfold. The need of the last season had my jaw on the floor and it continues to be jarring and weird and heartbreaking in the best way possible. Kudos to the cast and crew for such amazing work. Consistently holds its tone, vibe and feel. Bleak, odd, strange and beautiful. I wish more people were watching and talking about this show because it's absolutely, hands down one on the best television shows of all time. Amazing amazing amazing!!!

Boyd Stevens: What?
Father Khatri: Well, the fact that you can look at anything right now and describe it as "fine" has a bewildering charm to it.
