Attack of the Clothes

A nice episode, with some good commentary on fashion and socio-economics and a solid guest star in Cara Delevingne.

The Professor gets an episode and was in fine form becoming a fashion mogul. A genuinely funny character that too often gets sidelined.

Speaking of, Zoidberg gets some stuff to do! Not just a joke, but representing us poor clubs also.

Some cool sci-fi shenanigans and references, and you get a pretty decent Futurama episode. Though it ended quite abruptly I thought, and I assume it won't be continued? A little lazy that bit.

I give the episode a solid seven out of ten.

"What time is it?"

It's actually a funny episode and it even contains some good-old time-based sci-fi we miss from Futurama. I also like the messaging around fast fashion: It's a very real problem after all, and Futurama adapts the problem in its own quirky and funny way.

I also don't agree with comments saying it lacked focus, I think the two plot points around Farnsworth and Zoidberg were interconnected and made sense.

The two biggest issues I see are:

• Continuity issues: Futurama used to be good at tracking its long-term plots. I don't want to spoil anything but Zoidberg-related parts had missing continuity

• The ending: It could've been a great plot for the next episode but apparently they decided to not follow through... Honestly what a missed opportunity.

This could've been a 10/10 episode but it remains at 6.5 for me due to these two issues.

The whole episode had an irreverent vibe, skipping through plot snares offhandedly just to keep it moving. The messaging about fast fashion was good - if a little muddled. I think with this kind of concept they could have explored more of what makes this industry work instead of going full fantasy for better satire. I may be in the minority, but I thought the cliffhanger joke was hilarious. (Farnsworth: "What time is it?" - so funny). I think I just love when the professor is cluelessly wreaking havoc. It's not an episode that has much of an emotional through line for any character or much world-building, but it's a silly episode and it made me laugh quite a bit. 8/10.
