Even the word soulless doesn't do it justice
The show doesn't hit on a single aspect that made Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop great. It's cheap animation with characters that offer little to be interested in. The girl in the hat is the only intriguing character design on the show.
Where is the impactful voice acting? The women who mutters "I'll never see Mars" at the end of Asteroid Blues had more emotion in that line than this show has offered in two episodes.
Our main character is Spike if you bought him at the Flea Market and then drew hi from memory. Can't stress enough how uninspired that design is.
And the music which should be a sell it used cheaply. Even the theme song is forgettable whereas the previous shows were iconic
Low standards folks. Watch Cowboy Bebop and then watch this to see in real time just how far culture has fallen. From High Art to more cheap MAPPA slop.
