Raktabeej is not just a film! Raktabeej is an experience, where cinema meets reality. And this merging is seamless! It is really amazing how the directors have blended the flavours of Durga Puja with that of suspense. The details of puja days, the rituals, the rural flavour s and flamboyance on one side and ruthless remains of a blast, the trauma, the loss on the other side. And all seem real. It is indeed a surprise package from Directors Nandita Roy and Shiboprasad Mukherjee. The directors who have always made films based on emotions and family ties, have come up with a film that blends the genres of thriller and emotions so effortlessly! Kudos to the directors.

Nandita and Shivprasad created the first cinema out of their family line. Can't be called a complete success. The script didn't have that strength. But they are completely successful in the message they tried to convey to the society.

Although the movie has no pace in the beginning, the pace of the movie increases with time.

But what is most commendable is that they have got good performances from unknown actors/actresses. Every song in the film is very good. Ankush's dance is very good. Performances of anonymous actors have attracted more attention than famous actors. When Ambrish was given so little space, some other new actor could have been given a chance.

Shiboprasad-Nandita duo is a prominent name in the Bengali film fraternity. They started their career with some groundbreaking movies that were ahead of their time. Gradually, their work became monotonous and somehow lingered in the family drama genre. After a long hiatus, they made a comeback with a social-thriller named 'Raktabeej,' featuring an ensemble cast, including the ace actor Victor Banerjee, Anusuya Majumder, Kanchan Mallick, Abir Chatterjee, Mimi Chakraborty, etc. In this tumultuous time when directors are often hesitant to create political films, the director duo showed their courage by choosing a bold subject against the backdrop of the Khagragarh blast. The screenplay and editing of this film are top-notch, and the supporting characters have done an excellent job. The music, while good, sometimes hindered the pace of the film. The linear screenplay is perfectly matched with the festive mood. This movie raises a valid question: 'Is forgiving always the right decision?' Kudos to this director duo for bringing us such unique content in Bengali cinema. I'm eagerly awaiting its sequel.

When you obsessed with similar types of movies and try to taste a new flavor of movie.... then suddenly a movie came from old genra and silently stars blowing everyone's heart' ... this movie perfectly matches with those words.

The movie starts with a minor criminal activity and cops, and gradually become greater. This is a festival time movie which shows authentic events of durga puja. Home coming of a man. The chemistry between a brother and sister is shown perfectly. The rich bengal culture is shown here it will make you amaze. Also there is some spices of conflicts of central and state police and then becoming a team. Also little bit love chemistry is there but not too much as it's a life action movie. Which shows a fine direction of a director.

As this is a action, thriller, and festive drama movie.. every character is important here.. casting is absolutely awesome. Every cine is very important here. So go with some one or alone 🙂 it will make you feel amazing.
