I think this story deviated from the typical c-drama themes of unnecessary conflict. And I loved that!
The story was very real and very honest. The characters were flawed but likable and easy to connect with. The chemistry was great!
I can particularly relate these characters because I know what's its like to be consumed with work that you have no personal life. And for things at work to be going badly regardless. And I appreciate the lessons that they tried to shine light on. That consistent effort eventually pays off but overworking yourself can be dangerous.
I'm surprised it took me this long to find out about this show and after watching it I am very satisfied.

On Viki called "Make It Till You Fake It". I am giving this an 8 for this C-Drama. There are some things that I didn't care for - the main character story line got a little boring at times, and felt that the secondary story line had more time being spent on with the controlling boyfriend aspect of the drama. Would have liked to see something more with the main character story line overall. I did like Elvis Hahn (on Viki they called him Elvis Hahn, here on IMDB the same actor is being called Hongju Hahn) as Xu Zi Quan as he did play the handsome lawyer who had a previous relationship that did not work out - now not interested in getting married, but is more of a womanizer or playboy type. The FL was a good match for him which was decent casting for C-Drama's as usually they choose someone that is not a good match for the lead.
Later when they featured the 2nd story line again with the new boyfriend of the supporting actress (the sister), that was more interesting again. He was a cute younger guy with no money, trying to make a career singing at local bars and live online streaming in the middle of the night. When he dressed up for a performance he was quite handsome and mature looking. His music was the only good music in the show. The other theme songs that were featured throughout the Drama did not catch my attention at all and are non-rememberable unlike other dramas - which did not prompt to too search for add to my playlist.

It's a rollercoaster of emotions with electrifying chemistry between the main leads, showcasing an exemplary portrayal of green flag relationships.
It goes beyond the conventional boundaries of romance; it's a heartwarming journey of two people who accept each other's flaws, understanding that their bond is too precious to lose. With an exceptional script filled with deep and mature conversations, natural acting, and a feminist and independent female lead, this drama is nothing short of liberating, and it leaves a resounding message: there must be more dramas like this.
The magnetic chemistry between the main leads is the very essence that makes this drama irresistible. From the very first moment they appear together on screen, you can feel the sparks flying between them. It's not just a fleeting attraction; it's a connection that deepens with each passing episode. Their interactions are filled with tension, passion, and tenderness, making every scene they share an absolute delight to watch. It's the kind of chemistry that draws you into their world, making you root for their love story.
But what sets this drama apart from the rest is its profound exploration of green flag relationships. In a world where toxic relationships are often glamorized on screen, Fake It Till You Make It refreshingly portrays a partnership built on mutual respect, trust, and genuine affection. The main characters accept each other wholeheartedly, quirks and all. They understand that their bond is too precious to let go of, and this realization is the driving force behind their continuous efforts to nurture and improve their relationship. It's a valuable lesson for viewers that love should never be about changing someone but rather growing together as a team.
The script of this drama is a true masterpiece. It doesn't merely scratch the surface of love and relationships; it delves into profound, mature conversations that resonate with anyone who has ever been in love. The dialogues are not just romantic; they're thought-provoking, touching on life's complexities, dreams, and personal growth. These conversations add depth and authenticity to the storyline, making it not only engaging but also relatable on a deep emotional level.
The acting in Fake It Till You Make It is another shining aspect. The entire cast delivers their performances with such naturalness that it's easy to forget you're watching a scripted drama. They breathe life into their characters, portraying their emotions and experiences with authenticity. This level of realism makes it effortless for viewers to connect with the characters' journeys, drawing them even deeper into the narrative.
One of the most commendable elements of this drama is the feminist and independent strength of the female lead. Her character is a beacon of empowerment and self-reliance. She's not defined by her romantic relationship but by her own dreams and aspirations. Her determination to pursue her goals serves as an inspiring example, breaking away from the traditional mold of female characters often seen in dramas. It's truly liberating to witness a female lead who is not only strong but also unapologetically herself.
In a landscape dominated by formulaic narratives and shallow portrayals of romance, Fake It Till You Make It shines as a beacon of hope. It's a reminder that we need more dramas like this - ones that celebrate healthy relationships, strong characters, and meaningful dialogue. This drama is a breath of fresh air, an oasis in a desert of mediocrity, and a testament to the transformative power of storytelling.
Watch it , you won't regret it!!!!

First of all I should say I never understood why they have selected such name for this drama it has nothing to do with the story lol
Its a very common each day of life story of every one of us ; our families our works our relation ships our obstacles our difficulties our jobs our friends and ... Its so boring until Episode 7 or 8, long long conversations ,office discussion and nothing exciting but after 8th episode drama shows its main direction and u are curious to find out about its end
there are no disturbing parents or a fake relation ! Everything is normal and goes forward in its way ,the actings and chemistry between first leads are good enough if u are looking for a smooth lovey routine life story its a good choice I score it 8/10.
Director Li Mo's Remembrance of things past was lovely, but it's his most recent work - Fake it till you make it- that got me. It's so grounded and realistic but not without all the delicious flirtatious tensions between the leads. And the best thing is that love isnt the only important thing in their lives - they work hard, have interests, have everyday life struggles - just like us. Being a former office worker, I could definitely see bits and pieces of myself in this drama.
My only complaint of this drama is that it's too short. I find myself keep going back to previous episodes, not wanting to part. We need more dramas like this.
