More strange things are happening in Rockabye. Really creepy episode. In this one, Anna Alcott gets nominated in an awards show. Emma Roberts is good, but not in her A-game I think. We also now get to see Cara Delevingne utter some dialogues.
I find things really interesting and I'm wondering where this is going. Although I think it's going to be like that classic film, y'all know what that is. I've never read the book though. I also feel like this season is better than the previous season, but I have yet to see the next episodes.
A part I really do love about this new season is the score in the end credits. Really beautifully haunting score.

Kim is fine. She's not an actress, yet she was invited by the series creators to participate in this season, and she clearly prepared herself A LOT for the role. She's somewhat relatable and she's convincing! Matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if she inspired herself in a real life Hollywood PRs or any celebs she likely knows personally, the ones we insist to adore but have no idea how toxic they can be in person. I don't think she's great but I firmly believe people have to stop hating on her just for the sake of... hating on her. The episode was good, the season is unraveling in mysterious ways so far, and I like it a lot. So please, stop hating and give yourself a chance to peel the celebrity skin while giving miss Kimberly an opportunity to show how great of an asset she can be in productions such as AHS. As an AHS fan, I can't bare the numerous low ratings and the amount of comments hating on the season just because she's in it - yet I can't even imagine where she gathers the strength to accept invitations like this knowing people love to criticize her. It's past time we let her be.
I actually liked the setup of the last episode, and I've always enjoyed Emma Roberts perfomances; it's nice to see her doing a more serious part for once, and she is absolutely able to take the lead.
It was a fantastic idea to set up the main antagonist as her best friend, even though it's a little too obvious that she is some sort of shape shifter alien. With all the surgical alterations and the ridiculous amount of makeup she looks like her own computer animation. The delivery of her lines is perfectly creepy; she is almost convincing as a human, but something is just a little bit off.
The people who are dissing the actress will look pretty stupid once she laid her eggs in the now once again unoccupied womb.

These 2 episodes have been interesting thus far and the slowness / dullness almost adds to its charm; it's jarring and we feel the confusion that Anna is feeling.
BUT if I'd listened to these biased reviews I wouldn't have watched it, It's tiring trying to find ACTUAL reviews on this new season because of blind hatred towards Kim K... I'd understand if you didn't like her acting or character but her acting is decent in this so it feels unwarranted and immature?
I'm excited to see what Kim K will bring in future episodes !
People leaving nasty biased reviews purely based on one-sided conflict between them and a celebrity need to grow up unfortunately, your hatred towards Kim K doesn't affect the storyline and your opinions aren't as important or interesting as you think they are.

This episode was SO GOOD and omg I don't have words to express how much I loved it. Emma Roberts is glorious and iconic (as always), Kim Kardashian is AMAZING and... I don't have words to express this episode, just feeling that Ryan Murphy is returning the old AHS to his public.
You just want it to be next week to know what's going to happen with the plot, it leaves you with a taste in your mouth that you feel you need more, and more, and even more.
And for the people who said that Kim wasn't fitting into this, ONLY watch the first episode and you will realize that you are totally wrong, big mwah.

- TriviaIn this story, Anna is claimed to were the same dress and white fur shawl as Madonna wore in the 1991 Oscars for her iconic "Sooner or Later" performance. This is the same song that Anna and Siobhan were singing in the mirror before it broke. Later, at the red carpet, Babette is unaware of the story behind dress and Madonna performance, stating she wasn't even born yet, implying Anna's advance age against Babette's youth. Actually, actress Emma Roberts(Anna) was only born 6 weeks before the televised broadcast of the 1991 Oscars.
