The 7th season left us with the most cliffhanger of finales: a well structured and written one after so many let downs. The first season started with the same meticulously crafted narrative with some used up plotlines but explored in a unique fashion. I love the philosophical and political parallels dressed up within a cartoon and joyish fun. If you ask me that is completely the point of Rick and Morty to begin with. To this trajectory I very much approve. The journey you used to embark when you watched this show used to be unpredictable. I feel like we return to this organised chaos that produces the essence of the show. Please continue like that.
An intelligent episode as a premiere deserves, very well constructed and with beautiful lessons, as it should be
the pace of this first episode was ideal for a story of present and past, difficult and complex even for such a complete animation, the construction of those involved was good, their environments were used well
to be perfect, the episode should have Jerry involved in some context, especially with Summer, showing an improvement or worsening in his role as a father, this creates expectations in the next episodes, but a premiere could have the presence of the entire family
hope this spirit continues in the next episodes.

Not a bad episode, but not a very good one either
the plot is predictable, the use of a "let's forget anything happened" device makes for a boring ending and obviously won't get overused, because that's how you make series that lose all char. Development and when nothing matters anymore since it can be reset. The story isn't very subtle , and though i've caught some interesting points (mostly surrounding beth's narcissism) , the writing feels subpar . Again, this is just my opinion and I may have missed stuff here
the humor isn't here yet either, at least for me , i only cracked a smile less than I have fingers on my right hand
at least it's better than s7e1 lol.

That first episode was literally everything. The dynamics we know and love, the stakes we're there for, and of course, Morty going off the rails😂. However, I miss Jerry. Personally, I love episodes that deepen the dynamic between Summer and Beth. So this episode is a keeper for me. It reminds me of the first few episodes of Rick and Morty that got me hooked instantly. I honestly can't believe I thought Rick and Morty had gone downhill. They clearly just needed some time to adjust to the whole Justin Roiland thing, and now they're back and stull😍 strong. Pretty solid episode. Solid comedy. Can't wait for more.
After all those years, the writers finally coming back to good old Rick and Morty Style, just the way Fascist Morty would like lol.
The episode starts a bit confusing but I was familiar with concepts like this so figured out whats going on immediately. Throughout the whole show, had some crazy ideas like putting someone in a fake life for their entire life but they never went this deep to the concept and they finally did it spectacularly well.
The episode got the dark tone to it, it gets quite serious but somehow manages to be funny at the same time which is what I love about Rick and Morty.
Quite twisty and well written episode hope the quality holds itself for the entire season.

- TriviaTodas las entradas contienen spoilers
- ErroresSomeone in The Matrix incorrectly says "matrixes" as the plural of the word "matrix". This is likely due to Morty programming it without knowing that the correct plural is "matrices".
Though less common, "matrixes" is also an acceptable plural form for "matrix".
