No Way Out! A Hellish Scene on Onigasima

W episode this was one of my favorite one piece episodes I love how they added the lighting scene it was so beautiful and stunning. I've been so hyped for gear 5 since the trailer for the teaser it was so good. One piece is my favorite anime series and I love how they keep going crazy every single episode I can't express how beautiful this episode was this is going in my top 10-5 episodes of all time of anime/one piece episode. I can't wait for the next Episode im so excited I've been waiting for the climax of this battle for so long now im so happy that it's finally here for all the one piece fans to see.

Just reminding you that the animators worked 6 months for gear 5. The previous episode was fire as hell but this one is really disappointing tbh. It seemed like the animators didn't even care about that episode because the animation was as bad as meliodas vs escanor. If this fight was supposed to break the internet then I'm disappointed. I'm really sad ti say but they fumbled gear5. It looks like that the next episode might be filled because we don't get a preview or the animation might be so bad in the next or maybe too good tha they don't want to show it. Either way disappointing episode 4/10.

This episode is exactly like those ones that you just want to pass by to wait for the next one in One Piece, it's time wasting episode with only 2-3 mins of decent content.

My rating my sound harsh but that's for a reason, Gear 5 fight is the most hyped One Piece fight ever, I never seen One Piece was this hyped for the 22 years I have been watching it, SO WHY THE NEED TO RUIN IT!!!!!!

Why not for once make fans excited episode after episode like any other anime out there, why keep this stupid pace in a time One Piece is most hyped anime out there? I understand if this was done pre or post Gear 5, but not during, first Hiyori and now this....

There's one thing it seems Toei didn't understand and that's: when you create teasers and notice all this hype, make sure you live up to it than dissapoint your fans, but so far the inconsistency is simply not acceptable....

I'am greatful with this episode and I am giving her 10/10 . Because it's a weekly anime and it's my Goat.

I'm fine when it comes to not having constant decent animation after the 2 amazing episodes we got before, however when the direction is utterly bad there is no saving an episode. This one is a good example of bad direction.

Here are my pro and con of this ep.

Con: 1. Unnecessary recaps: as usual, but 9-10 minutes of it is outrages.

2. The extended scences: I know that they usually have to drag out some scenes, but this was a bit much, like Luffy grabbing Lightning was suppose to be a surprise scene. We didn't need to see a lead up towards it.

3. The end of the ep: It somehow managed to make me appreciate the ending of that Kanjuro episode and that should say a lot in itself on how bad this was.

Pro: 1. Good Animation parts:

• Trading blows with Kaido
• Sanji kicking the debris away
• JinbeixRaizo

2. The perfect dialog added: "It almost hit my crotch!" -Luffy

And that was all.
