GREYLOCK

It's a very gory series who doesn't shy away from the gruesome visuals. Very little is left up to the imagination and is directly shown to you. The story is very fun and the visuals kept me locked in as a body horror fan. The series doesn't have a clear structure but that makes it a surprise when you start a new video. It's a fresh new look at a gory version of analog horror that doesn't get into the clichés of other series. It starts of slow but gets very good in the middle. I do sadly think that the later videos feel a bit bloated and are not really exploring that much lorewise. It almost feels like the timestamp is just that long because they wanted to make a long video and not because they actually have enough content to fill it out. I'm mostly talking about tape 012.

I love this series so much, the plot, the visuals, its just done so well, the first time I watched this I literally couldn't close my eyes without thinking of the face from the fifth episode and that is a huge compliment. I have seen a lot of analog horror since 2020 and this one is still my all time favorite, I still have some complaints from the series. Some scenes in the series are a bit too long and some of the story is hard to understand with the frame by frame newspaper clippings but other than that, 10/10 internet horror series, I can't wait to see what the story develops into throughout this year and if Rob Gavagan is out there reading this, don't stop with this series, its so good.
