Episode #1.5

Having discovered the identity of the killer's base, Harry suffers a horrendous attack. The killer reaches out, offering to release Alastair, with only one condition, that Harry be the one to collect him. Saima starts digging into her husband and brother's affairs.

This show has definitely ended better than it started, the previous episode and this one were both excellent, packed full of excitement, tension and shocks.

I just love Boardman's hypocrisy, if that was Joe Public in Alastair's place, you know full well he'd be singing a different tune. Also, it's funny how Harry's suspension is conveniently rescinded, when the powers that be discover that they need him.

It's quite moving as well, the meeting of the fathers was a very powerful moment, quite profound. Work remembering that underneath, we're not all so different.

We've had spiders and giant wasps, who knows what's next.

Mix Luther, Silence of the lambs and Saw, that'll give you an idea of what you're in for.

I bet that stung. Virdee is covered in honey and then some wasps are let loose on him.

Not to worry, before long he will be up and about.

It does not take long for someone to figure out that Jai Pawa (Ramon Tikaram) is not in his prison cell in India. Maybe someone should had popped down and shouted Habeas Corpus!

Back in Bradford, Jonathan Boardman is still in charge for some reason and jeopardising everything to have his son back.

Yet somehow it was Virdee who was under suspension.

With Jai Pawa back. He wants revenge on Virdee and Riaz. He is also better at following people than the police. I am sure Saima could had stopped her car at a better spot.

AA Dhand was involved in adapting his novel to the screen. It has some appalling writing. Laughably bad.

Why is there even a gang war in Bradford if Riaz could take Vasil out so quickly. His security is rubbish if Riaz's sister could just waltz in.

Also all these years and everyone thinks that Riaz just runs a cash and carry. This is Bradford, you can't keep a secret for long!

Excellent from start to finish, I can't say enough good things about episode 5, truly excellent.
