17 hours of people screaming and crying. It's shock drama with no substance whatsoever. The show is so incredibly shallow it's hard to even describe. You are guaranteed every ~30 seconds someone is going to have a mental breakdown, scream hysterically, start crying, commit child abuse, or just generally collapse from too much drama. The plot is absolutely ridiculous and feels more like a random event generator. People will come out of nowhere to reveal some huge drama event and then everyone overreacts, repeat x1000. Watching this feels more like a punishment than something you would actually sit down and enjoy.

Escape of 7 sticks to the writer's usual style, offering a story that feels too familiar. The plot is filled with ridiculous twists, making it hard to take seriously. Unfortunately, the characters don't grow or change throughout, leaving much to be desired. The constant attempts to expose each other in the media become repetitive, and the awkward product placements turn intense moments into unintentional comedy. Overall, it's a missed opportunity for something fresh and engaging.

As the narrative unfolds, it becomes painfully evident that the writer relies heavily on a formulaic approach. Each dramatic twist feels like a recycled version of previous works, creating a sense of predictability that hampers any hope for genuine surprise or excitement.

Character development, a crucial element in any drama, is sorely lacking in Escape of 7. Viewers are left yearning for a more profound connection with the characters, as their actions and motivations become increasingly difficult to empathize with. The opportunity for personal growth or introspection is squandered, leaving the audience detached from the emotional core of the story.

In conclusion, Escape of 7 is a disappointment for anyone seeking a fresh and compelling drama. I used to like the drama as was expecting sense of justice in the end. The drama was brutal that it felt like the writer and producer were having a good laugh in front of my face as I felt helpless and stressed while watching it because I'm just a viewer that invested time following and watching this s...d plot twist. Pure evil. I can't feel the justice and making me feel like it's just normal in the real world. Every action and decisions of the characters as the series progress, were becoming more and more st.p.d and BS. Also, these characters shouldn't be converted or put into the other side of spectrum, whatever effort they put into, should remain unlikable due to their decisions and actions from the earlier episode.

I'm still looking forward for a good ending that will embody and promote goodness and fairness.

I was really intrigued by the concept of the series, the first four episodes have been so good that I have been wondering how the rest of it is gonna go, right from the first episode, this drama already sets the stakes so high. You really cannot stop watching and already want to see what will happen in the next episode, I kinda wish I was binging this instead cause waiting a week for the next two episodes is mentally draining, you literally cannot guess what will happen next.

Whilst it is similar to the usual backbiting and manipulating concepts in Kdrama, this takes a whole new fresh look on things and puts things more into perspective. You can understand why each character's motive and actions, they are all driven by greed and selfishness. This is a really great drama, I am highly anticipating the rest of it.

I have had it on my watchlist since the first quarter of the year, and I have to say it has more than met my expectations so far.

OMG PLSS WHOEVER DIDN'T WATCH THIS DRAMA FROM EP 1 OR QUIT WHILST WATCHING IT PLSSSSS I BEG YOU GIVE IT A CHANCE OMG I'VE NEVER BEEN THIS SHOCKED IN MY LIFE LIKE PLSS JUST GIVE IT ONE CHANCE. THERE IS ALSO MANY SPECIAL APPEARANCE IN THIS SHOW AND I LOVE IT. LITERALLY GOT ME HOOKED UP SINCE THE BEGINNING AND I HOPE THE ENDING WON'T RUIN IT IT'S GOING SO WELL.(tbh I feel like I'm almost having a heart attack because of this show I've literally been screaming because of this ONE'S EP LIKE AHAHAHHEHRHRRHRRRRPLS GO NAD GET YOUR POPCORN OR ANY SNACK FOR THAT MATTER AND GET YOUR BUT DOWN AN WATCH NOW.
