A Love Story

April 1985, Police arrive at the Haysom household, to a horrific scene, Derek and Nancy are round brutally murdered. Their daughter Elizabeth and her boyfriend Jens Sorting skip the country, eventually ending up in London, England.

I had a feeling this was going to be slow and overlong, and I will be honest, the first half an hour or so is painfully slow, but it definitely opens up, the story takes a fascinating turn and really did hold my attention.

The fact that Jens is being interviewed here does give us one big answer, but what happened to Elizabeth, time will tell.

Wow, those letters between Jens and Elizabeth are so chilling, the content is so grim, but truly incriminating. They literally map out the murder in them.

It's perhaps a little overproduced as is sometimes the case with Netflix, they could have cut this down to two or three episodes possibly, and cut out some of the interlinking scenes.
