Al Capone: The Facts About Al Capone

When I watch a documentary, I like it to be educational, emotional and entertaining and this documentary had all three. Ok, not that much emotion, but still a little.

This documentary film, was very detailed and it also delivered, on the educational side also, with its comprehensive approach to Al Capone's life.

It also runs at a good length, which is great, because I find a lot of documentary films, are either way too short, leaving you want to know more, or they drag to the point, that you get bored and the entertainment factor is ruined.

I would honestly recommend to any one, who is interested in gangster history or history in general.

I'm a big fan of the whole gangster genre, so have watched lots of stuff on the legendary Al Capone, and I have to say, this one is up there with best.

Off course I had heard some of it before, it is in the end of the day, un avoidable, if you have watched loads of films, on a very famous person, but this one did provide a lot of original insight, which really got me thinking.

A thorough documentary film, that carries at a good pace. I thoroughly enjoyed this documentary film and would recommend to any one, who is interested in Alphonse Capone or just generally interested in the gangsters of the past.

I've seen lots of documentary films, about gangsters and have to say, I find them very interesting, as do I do narrative films.

There is something about how these men operated, in that period of time, which is endlessly compelling, and as such, I just love watching this sort of thing, so I am quite capable of picking between the good, the bad and the ugly, and I have to say, this one is rather good indeed.

It is packed full of facts, some of which I already knew, from watching previous documentaries, on Al Capone and some of which I did not.

Well edited, with a good pace, and the music fits the time period, at which Al Capone had his power, over the city of Chicago. Worth A Watch.

Not the greatest documentary I have ever watched, but pretty good all the same. Personally I am not a massive documentary buff, but I do watch a few and this one is not one, that I regret investing my time in.

It is pretty slick with its editing and is very entertaining, in the fact that it presents lots of facts on the man and really tells a comprehensive story of the man's life, starting with his parents and ending with his death.

The choice of music was great, as it was Jazz from that time period, so it really helps to give the impression of the time.

Well worth a watch, if you like documentaries and well worth a watch if you are interested, in Al Capone.

Ok, so as I said in the title for this review, I really enjoyed this documentary film.

The main reason, I enjoyed it so much, is that it presents lots of important facts, many of which I did not know, despite having watched loads of documentaries, on Al Capone and the Chicago underworld, at that time.

The music is used well in this and is very well chosen, as it transports you back, to the time of prohibition and Al Capone.

A fascinating documentary, that delivers a good pace, and thorough entertainment, that keeps you gripped till the very end, as you look back on the life, of one of the most famous gangsters, to ever live.
